DCM DARE...

Strictly Monochrome - the card has to be all one colour!

i happened to have this pink one i just made so it fitted in perfectly...

i used pink bazzil cardstock, pink angel blooms and die cut alphabet... plain and simple but i think just enough for a little girl who loves PINK....

Easter Parade

Today was Jacks first Easter Bonnet Parade, we made lots of Eastery items on Tuesday and bless him he showed off his hat today (he wasnt really that interested in making it - wanted more of a pirate ship hat!!!) and the whole school got an easter egg each for their efforts...

Riley looked snug as a bug as usual in his snowsuit - how gorgeous is he...

Made some cards for a friend... I so love decoupage, especially these paper nation ones! thought i'd better add something crafty on here too, havent done for some time, as just been so busy with family life with a newborn in it again!

I hate boilers...

We have had No heating or hot water since last Thursday!!! So trips to friends house for showers and baths... bless her... thanks again Cazz - your a star...
Finally fixed today but to the point that the clock doesnt work, so again I have to wait in as they are coming back tomorrow!!!

I've been really busy too ordering stuff ready for the new business venture on my website, just hope I get many many sales from this...

Got lots of crafting to do as another craft fair now added to my list! Need to book more too...

Riley is coming along lovely, growing into a gorgeous little animal and Jack is as adorable as ever, I love them both sooooo much... hehehe

yuk yuk yuk...

So much to do, but soooo full of the flu!!!
I am exhausted, woke up with this flu on Saturday morning! and its now hit me really hard, I have a lovely shining red raw nose, sore throat and aching body!!
But still one must plod on with the school run and a eight week old baby!
I was up at 3am this morning!!!! As just could not sleep at all..........and I have amazingly just sneezed 15 times in a row!!!!!! and still counting as I type this lol.

I have been busy making cards for my next craft fair at the end of April, but I still but I still have so much more new stuff to get done.

Ended up having mothers day dinner round my lovely friends house on Sunday - thankfully - as cooking was the last thing on my list as my flu was just beginning... so thank you Cazz for that and a huge thank you for the night off on Saturday so that me and Terry could go to the fancy dress party!!! I'd post a photo but we look like nutters! Well Terry does anyways, especially with the wig...

Urgh and awwwwwww - poor Riley had his first set of injections today, such a horrid time but he survived with lots of cuddles and kisses.

Had lots of exciting parcels yesterday, I'm adding a baby gift section to my website - slowly - so had some parcels for that, going to be making gift baskets with mini suitcases!!! so watch this space...
Also had my first delivery from self addressed how impressed was I, gorgeous papers and goodies, cant wait till Aprils now. This is for my own personal use and not for craft fairs, so I cant start to scrap my family and our life... Only a novice at the moment, but there is tons of inspiration out there so cant wait to start...

sooo busy...

I so havent blogged for ages, I was kinda hoping that this was going to be a daily event for me, but cant find the minutes for it, must try harder as really want to blog my family and obviously cards on here..
Riley is 8 weeks old on thurs and had his 6 week check with the lovely doctor yesterday, who went on to explain that he has a heart murmur! Obviously worrying but strangely common, we have to go back in 3 weeks for a further check to see how he is, other than that, he is a healthy growing little baby, loves his grub and is even more gorgeous when he smiles.
We are all so very proud of him... Mummy, Daddy and big brother Jack love giving him huggles (as Jack prefers to call them) and kisses.

Jack was sent home last week as he was sick in school! bless him, he was poorly again at home but luckily it was only a 24 hour bug! and soon recovered

The Daring card makers dare for Friday was super heros, its a bit late but I have made a few of those so these are old photos I'm afraid but still in with the dare.

Just saw the midweek dare for the sketch, so must do one and post at a later date...

Sooo tired..

I am so tired at the moment, trying to do everything at once, thats my problem.
I keep forgetting I have a newborn in the house again and its not so simple to just 'get on'.

Poor Rileys been grizzly all day and Jack is still talking about the fireman that went to his school earlier on in the week - this term they are concentrating on people and their jobs, and they've had nurses go to the school and of course the firemen, where Jack got to hold the hose and put the fire out and he sat in the fire engine too.
My two boys - wow - cant believe I'm actually saying that, very wierd, I love them both very much, and its all still abit over whelming having Riley here too.
Jack loves him tons and he makes me feel so proud with how he wants to help all the time and says how much he loves Mummy, Daddy and Baby Riley.

Jack also had assembley this week and his class were singing a pancake song, bless him , he looked great as usual.

Found it really difficult this week to find any crafting time, so have missed out on the dares this week but will try to catch up.
I am been positive about my website and trying to update that as much as I possibly can, trying to advertise it alot as I soooo dont want to go back to work, a) its not cost effective to really and b) I just love been at home with Jack and Riley.
Trying to update my card collection as I have a craft fair at the end of April and I generally do really well there, but my style is changing so much that I want a good selection for people to look at.
Just started to slowly add a baby range to my website, handmade baby gifts, natural baby toiletries and an organic range of clothing flower boxes! just waiting for delivery of those...
Anyways its late, Riley only 'just' settling, so must try and get some kip myself.

Will add some card photos soon... maybe over the weekend if I get a chance...
