Busy Weekend

I drove to Skeggy on Saturday to take my niece back home, after her stay with us. Bless her, I think she was happy to be home but sad to leave us too.
I'm playing catch up again rather than just miss a few days of HS-MS and tonight (my honey is nights again this week) so its crafting week - lol - I do have lots of prep to do for the Wedding Fayre coming up and want to start card blogging again, I miss it.
Here's my catch up - Plant - A green living organism. Show us a 'plant' in your space today.
I got this for Jack to do in the holidays, probably do it now its out the cupboard. Can - A container for food or liquid. Show us 'can' in your space today. You see this can is special to me!!! I get laughed at, at home, because I do have a bit of an obsession with tins and boxes etc, everything in my cupboards have to be in these items!!! LOL Anyways this is the first 'tin can' that Tel bought me, from Ikea whilst doing a job there, its now my spare sugar tin.
Fly - To move through the air. Find 'fly' in your space.
One of Jacks many soldier items!!!Will defo update with crafty stuff tomorrow hehe x

Great British weather...

You really cant fault it can you! It never lets you down.
Thats why i always have a kagoul under the buggy ready for Jack to throw on - lol.
Yesterday we popped to Fermyn Woods Country Park, just to get some fresh air, and out of these four walls. We had a great long walk, played on their new park - which is great I must add - it was so sunny, I could feel myself burning, it was great, then the Thunder came! 'Right-o kiddies lets go get a cuppa and biccy' (they have a lovely cafe there) and no sooner had we sat down, the heavens opened.
Thank god for Jacks kagoul, cause he had no other coat - lol.

Does make you think though, as I walking round I took a few photos and I cant believe that there are such gorgeous walks and countryside just a stones throw from where you live.

and look at the groovy new swing they have... want one!

poor Riley, he just wants to get up and run around with his brother so much, you can really see it, but he's bound to his buggy for now..

Badly forgot to do my Chop photo for the HS-MS blog - will play catch up tomorrow. x

Window

HSMS today is Window - An opening in the wall, filled with glass.
Take no notice of the garden, we're more concerned with decorating the house! lol The garden is the last job - lol

The plant is a passion flower and I fell in love with it when I saw it in Morrisons, the flower is beautiful.

The weather was awful here yesterday, so it gave us the chance to get out the clay that I bought at Lands End, whilst on our fantastic holiday in Cornwall!!!
Here are Jacks, with (alot of) help from Mummy (I just couldnt help myself - sorry)
I believe we have a dinosaur, rabbit, mouse, snake, hedgehog and piggy.

and here are Megans which I believe are a cup, table, tv, horse, rabbit and piggy.

More instalments later ttfn x

Her space - My space

I found a great blog, which I thought would be very helpful!
I only have a Kodak C330 and just want to learn to take as good a photos as I can with it, and you never know, I may one day treat myself to a fandabbydosey camera - one day...
Her Space - My Space is a challenge blog
Take a word, take a picture. A blog to share snapshots of everyday life with no props and no limits. Just plain old fashioned photography in her space and my space.
So here I start it! I've attempted the last three on the blog and hopefully daily will continue to play along.

Pasta ~ An italian food made from dough ~
Drive ~ To operate a vehicle ~ not really happy with this but it was chucking it down and my interpretation was suppose to be ~ BMW the only way to drive!! lol
Thread ~ A long strand of fibres ~
I've not done much crafting the last couple of weeks either, because of the house been upside down!!! but I can slowly start to bring the craft stuff out again - lol
Here's a sneak peek of what I'm working on at the moment

... and hopefully these scissor holders will go down well at craft fairs and possibly ebay

Well that was a long post, I'll leave it there for now x

How hot....

...blimey it was a scorcher today. Sadly the majority of the morning I've been getting things back in order in the house, after our redecoration expedition!!!!
I took the kids to Wicksteed Park for awhile, its quite handy as its only down the road from where we live.
A few piccies I took, not good ones though, the sun was blaring, and I've only got a Kodak so can only do so much...

Poor Megan looks so rigid going down the slide - bless her...

Off to Lexie's 3rd birthday party tomorrow, I'm making fairy cakes...
Will take more photos I dare say...
Till then - Night night

My Poor Blog...

...has suffered these last few weeks, although we have been busy. So I'll try to sum up the last few weeks.
The three of us went to Nannys whilst Daddy did the major work in the living room, will post new photo once all finished, very happy with it we are.
A few photos from Nannys to start with, Jack on his donkey ride and making fruit kebabs...
Me, Jack, Megan and Riley all spent the day at 'Natureland' in Skegness, it really is a great place to go, its not very big, but the work they do there is amazing, the amount of baby seals they have saved is amazing. Heres a few piccies I took whilst there...

One of these penguins is actually 34 years old!!!! bless her heart...

They also have a butterfly park in there, and I'm not one for things flying around my head, so I did look like a nutter ducking and diving the butterflies - lol - but Jack was very happy as he was studying butterflies in reception and told me all about them.

I also asked my dear Niece Megan if there were any shell like creatures ie: tortoise, turtle bla bla bla, 'No Aunty Deanne' I then leaned over a wall and near on passed out with fright!!!! Bloody tons of the things - eek - I mean what do you call a phobia of tortoises!!! darn right stupidity probably... lol
We then popped to see the local windmill

This Saturday I had a craft fair in Kettering, it didnt do too well, bit slow all round really but I was pretty pleased with my table considering I got there and it was an oval one!!! At least I managed to make five scissor holders - yes that really was how slow it was -

Must take some photos of my scissor holders, my friends asked me to make one for her nurses scissors too.

Till the next instalment - Goodnight... x
