Wednesday I tootled off to the doctors because of terrible headaches I've suddenly started getting, they are so painful and come from no-where - certainly not enjoyable. Doctor said I have cluster headaches, so hopefully this is just a cluster and will disappear soon! I have medication for them too.

HS-MS is Cake and I'm reusing Tels birthday cake from the other week, just cause I love the photo so much for some reason.

Thats it from me at the moment, feeling tad low so trying to pick myself up really!
I have been busy crafting but nothing to show as of yet.

What a night! HS-MS & lots of mud!!!

Well, last night was a bit of a shocker wasnt it - I think its certainly what everyone is talking about today! It woke me up, luckily the boys slept through it, Tel was on nights, so in all honesty, I was scared stiff!!! Had to come downstairs and figure it out!! It brought on a biggie anxiety attack, havent had one of those in a long time, I think it was purely because I literally got shook awake!! and I reacted by been anxious which escalated. Nightmare, finally got back to sleep after 4.30am.. so hopefully gonna go and have a nap after doing this, whilst Riley is napping too.

My lovely friend Cazz has been laughing at me this morning due to a remark I said very early this morning about the tremor!!! Thank you honey, nice to know I have good solid friends like you around lmao xxx

HS-MS today is Tower - A tall narrow construction, either free standing or forming a part of a building. This is the Tree Top walk in Northampton, I can walk all the way up, but it gets to the tower and I cant do it - I hate open staircases...This is the view from the top of the tower! Eek, obviously Tel took theseGreat place to take the kids though, good long walks, picnic areas and then the tree top walk too, where you can take a buggy and your dogs up.

I popped to see my allotment yesterday, more to see what needed doing and where, I took lots of photos, for my before and after shots - lol and they are helping me figure out what I'm doing with it all too.I have a small amount of rubbish to move also, but I wasnt counting on finding thisThe plough must have through it under all the earth... lol... my luck eh! x

'Yesterday' & Lauren's Sketch

Well 'yesterday' was a day and a half!!!

Tel was buying himself a dog for his birthday, it will of course end up been mine!! hehehe

Something wasnt quite right over the weekend and yesterday was the funniest thing ever. To a very long story short its called a dog scam!! from Cameroon....

If you are ever purchasing a dog - and the phone number is 070 - dont ring it!! Its part of the scam.

To end on a happy note, after much searching, I 'think' and stress 'think' we may have found one, only born a couple of days ago but its in Somerset!! Nearly four hours away, but like I said, its worth the journey - have a little weekend away - view her, and then go to collect her in 8 weeks. I personally think its worth it, she's from a very reputable breeder and the kennels is gorgeous. That's my main concern.

Oh its a Yorkshire Terrier we're after by the way. I've always been a boxer dog type of girl and when my Jade sadly died (only five days after Jack was born!!) it broke my heart, it really did, she was my little girl and nothing could replace her. Oddly I dont like little dogs, I never saw the point in them.. but since having Riley, I love pink (I mean I am not a pink person) and I've gone mad on little doggies... What's happening to me, I feel I'm slowly turning into a Stepford Wife - lol - yeah right lmao.

Will update regarding that though.

Was going to go to my allotment this morning to start clearing up some junk and it tipped it down on the way home from the school run! So I did Laurens Saturday Sketch instead.I just did a plain-ish pink card as a couple of friends are getting married this weekend, one secretly too!!! Ooooh

My Day & HS-MS

Well its my fellas birthday today - a whopping 29 - we spent the morning chilling after having a lovely meal last night at The Boat Inn in Stoke Bruerne. I can only recommend this restaurant, if you live in Northamptonshire or close by, go there, its gorgeous. A small restaurant up above the gorgeous public bar, we were lucky enough to have the canal side seating, which made it extra special. The food was delicious, served beautifully and the service was second to none.

This afternoon we popped along to Fermyn Woods Country Park had a cuppa, then a lovely long walk with the boys, played footy, frisbie and in the new play park, which is great.

The first time Jack went on one of thesewas in Cornwall last year and when it got to the end, he let go!!! and abrutly came flying off. So hence me shouting, dont let go, dont let go. He didnt - bless him, I'm surprised he was laughing that much I couldnt believe he held on.

Riley loved the swing, he was making the funniest giggling noise - lolI'm choosing this photo for HS-MS SOS because I just really like the colours in the photo and sharp the berries actually look lol

(Edited - I believe it looks better on my documents, but looks pretty rubbish on my blog - oh well lol)

Whilst all this was going on, Beef Hotpot was in the slow cooker and ready for when we got home and this is a piccy of Tels homemade birthday cake!!! It was actually scrummy.More amazing news today - I can now share I have my allotment, I'm so excited, I went and picked it, paid my annual fee, got my key, so The Good Life starts from here lol

I really cannot explain how excited I am, I have books, some seeds, but I need to do a fair bit of tidying up and getting hold of a farmer to rotivate it for me bla bla bla

I'll update with photos as I go along of course! lol

Not much else been going on today, just nice to chill now I'm back home.
Bog standard housework and food shopping, I have been crafting this evening but its too dark to photo anything.

HS-MS today is Packet - A paper or cardboard container.I made a yummy scrummy in my tummy Slimming World quorn curry and rice tonight, Riley was funny eating it, really cramming it in, he loved it, bless him.
I was gonna take a photo of me lubbly dinner but remembered that after I'd cleared my plate!!

Kinda got fed up with my blogger template cause the flowers were showing through my photos which was putting me off, so I have chosen a new one for now. Just means I have to add all my favs lists - again.

I'm back

- a short one, I'm back. Had a break away at my parents and after a ridiculous amount of travelling today I'm happy to be home.
It was mega mega freezing whilst we were there, sooo cold, tooo cold to do anything outside, I went to take the boys to the park but for fear of our hands freezing to the swing we popped into the library instead, that and the fact kids had obviously swung the swing around the top of the frame (but you get my gist regarding how cold it was yeah)
Whilst away Rileys walking improved tons, now he doesnt stop! Now the trouble begins even more. He became quite cuddly too, which soo isnt Riley, how can he be comfortable!!And as for this 'animal' the devil I'm certain of it, she is the sister of my three babies and they are nothing like she is, she will not be stroked unless she wants it, she'll sit on your lap when she wants too, if not she'll scratch your blooming eyes out, hence poor Riley felt her wrath when he poked her one under the dinner table (I was not aware she was under there) and his hand suffers the marks!!! One was not happy with that cat.Talking of 'sister' that leads me to another photo added to my Winter Challenge blog, which can be found here

Up Up and Away

I'm off for a few days to take the boys to visit Nanny, Pop Pop and Megan.

A well deserved break I am hoping for and a start to finish on some projects I'm taking with me! I have a craft fair on May Day so I have lots of plans for new crafty goodness to be on my stall.

I am gutted though, please check (this post) regarding raising funds for Ellie Wiseman.
Well finally at our Slimming World group we are having a fundraising night, donations towards jacket potatoes, peeps are bringing in fillings and then there's a raffle - and guess what - yes - I'm not going to be there - I am seriously gutted.
I have been busy though and I've made these towards the rafflealong with some covered notebooks and handmade card packs, couple bottles of wine and anything else arty I can lay my hands on whilst tidying up before I leave for Sunny Freezing Mablethorpe!!!
Did I tell you that I was gutted I wouldnt be there!!! Thanks Cazz for been with me on this one and been able to voice at out the group for me - you go girl - am gutted though!! lol

Riley has finally cut his front tooth - I actually know the exact time it happened too, 3.30am with a huge scream and tears, cuddles and rub to his back soon got him back off again, thats four now!! and the other two top ones are nearly through too - bless him, no wonder why he's been so grumpy.

I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to (Sue Nicholson) for a couple of things, firstly a comment she left on my blog yesterday made me chuckle lots, it was from my HS-MS Forgiveness prompt
'Children look so sweet when they are sleeping that you could eat them . . . and when they awake you wish you had!!!'
Also I have her book 'Simply Sensational Scrapbook Cards' which gave me some much needed inspiration for some Christening cards I was making as keepsakes for an order I was doing. I took my treasure LO of Riley and some ideas from her book and managed to make 10 individual cards. Here's one - Last night was our official Valentines night, nice dinner, candle light, wine glass (filled with carlsberg lol) crackers from Tesco which had little sparklers and a love trivia game - very blah blah but a bit of fun and gingerbread made by moi! HS-MS today is Forgiveness - Sometimes called 'Patience': Resolving conflict peacefully, as opposed to resorting to violence. The ability to forgive, to show mercy to sinners.You may look at this picture and think 'What does this have to do with Forgiveness!'

Well alot - Riley is teething - quite badly - at the moment, and he's not let Mummy have much sleep for the last 3 nights, and I cant catch up in the day, cause he's cat napping (which he never normally does)
Hence the cat nap photo - he wont be like this for long, and I look at him now and I think how can Mummy lose her patience when you look so gorgeous.

So forgive me Riley, for getting upset when you've been constantly screaming in my ears for three hours!!! Love you lots baby x

On a more crafty note - of course - I got this lot off the postie this morning. Not gonna tell you what its for till its done, and I have a month!! Its a project all for me, I must admit though I laughed and laughed at myself this morning as I thought it was going to be a small project! Oh how WRONG was I!!!!!!!! lol

Forgot to say in my last post, we are celebrating Valentines Day on Saturday night, as Tel's been working nights, so hopefully, all depends on Riley's mood!!! lol We should have some free time, I'm gonna cook a nice meal and then we'll chill and have a romantic evening, failing that, we'll both fall to sleep on the sofa knackered!!! lol

- I've had a really shite day today. Not much sleep at all last night, down to both the boys, no sleep today as Riley not really settled for long at all! and its been constant crying. A bad bout of teething and his jab have made a very hard job for Mummy to get through the day.

But I have - well its only 9.30pm, theres plenty of the day left yet - I've had a few moments of not feeling too good.

I amazingly found five minutes to re-do my blog. What do you think of the new look. Thanks to Lora (she's also on the Am I a scrap addict Design Team) she gave me the pointers of where to go as I like her blog page so much - so thank you Lora.

Nothing to really show today as I have really had no time at all to do anything else. Hopefully the postie will have a few items on there way to me - soon - then I'll be able to share some new projects I'll be doing! All for me too.

What a day

its turned out to be!

Riley had his booster jab today, and he was so brave he really was, didnt even cry bless him.
I went to phat club!! and maintained so I wasnt too impressed about that to say the least!
Put the boys to bed, then Riley woke up, the jab had finally got to him me thinks, burning up, really tearful and very cuddly (very unlike our little one)
Tels on nights, so missing him tons, managed to settle Riley - hence I'm still up at this late hour!! having a moment to myself.
I've been updating my 365 day blog, slowly catching up. Heres my take from todays prompt 'Breakfast at Tiffanys' I just went with the black and white theme really, I am a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn and was thinking about the life she had.

Wow my very first Bad Girl Kit came today, awesome or what, there's plenty here to be playing with, or even dreaming about, I've already got in mind where to start with some of it!!!I'm so excited it really is gorgeousness (if thats a word, if not I've just made it and its perfect)

My super duper special news is I'm a Design Team Member over at Deanne Burtons blog Am I a Scrap Addict she does super sketches for LOs and Cards on the 1st and 15th of every month. I'm part of the card design team, I cannot wait, I'm very excited, theres some super talented ladies on the teams, go check them out. I officially start on the 1st March, so cant wait to show you my first creation - I'll keep you posted.

I'm sure its time for a new camera!!! It just isnt doing me justice anymore, heres some photos of what I did at the crop yesterday

Products used were My Minds Eye pp (I didnt take anything other than what I packed into Amy Butler bag - I didnt want to take too much - lol - understatement, next time, I'll know to take everything!!! lmao) Hence I made my own embellishments by handcutting and distressing hearts.This is my favourite christmas photo of Jack, and I've been wanting to do something with it for ages, I kept it simple, so I wasnt drawn away from the photo.

I really struggled with this one today, so just popped onto ebay and came up with this, the cleanest photo I'd like to add!!!! The others were a tad too much for my liking - lol.

Over at HS-MS its the last of the seven deadly sins

(or Vanity in one's self) is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins and is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to give compliments to others though they may be deserving of them, and excessive love of self.

I really didnt know where to go with this, the obvious is my family because I am so proud of all of them but after reading Suzieb's blog and her two takes on this, it made me think a little (only a little - for those that know me, thats enough - lol).

I am proud of my achievements so far, I love crafting and where it takes, I love what it takes me from when I'm having a 'bad day', I started off card making and progressed to my website with Wedding Stationery, then I found scrapbooking! I love it, and I especially love this LO I did!!! Its only the second one I did, I had to be brave but worth it for such an occasion, and I'm so proud of myself for doing it.

Today I went along to the MK Scrappers Crop for the first time, I loved it, everyone made me feel so welcome and I got alot done too. I'll post photos tomorrow, its too dark now.
It was a great day, bar the chit chat of dog poop!!! and how it warms your hands!!! lol

All in all thats it for today, had a super duper dinner, which cooked lovingly in the slow cooker all day, a gorgeous slimming world recipe for Chunky Beef Hotpot (in the current magazine) - really gorgeous.

HS-MS & Pancakes

Hs-Ms today is Envy - characterised by an insatiable desire for something that someone else has.

To be honest this really got me thinking! A while back I found some photos of myself before I had my gorgeous boys, when I was single and strong and positive.

Once I had Jack, my life changed, certainly for the better, but it has left me feeling less positive about myself, not just that I'm a different size, but I'm not as strong as I once was, I take things that people say literally! I still have my fun side, but not as much.

I envy the person that I once was, it feels a lifetime ago as much as a different life altogether!

I am happier now than I have ever been, but I'm still envious of the person eight years ago.

On a happier note, we had pancakes for lunch yummy.
This is as healthy as I could make mine, fresh strawberries and fromage frais - yum yum yum - Hope this weekend is a good one for you. Hopefully I'll have some scrapping to show tomorrow, as I'm venturing along to the MK Scrappers crop for the first time!! Eek... how nervous am I?

Card order, 365 and HS-MS

A bit to update today - I cant believe at the moment that I'm not blogging every day!! Just so busy around here.

We managed our trip to Ikea yesterday with no problems along the way - yippee - I so love it there, could have bought everything! lol

Anyways I've had a few card orders, a 30th wedding anniversary, babys first birthday and some christening invitations!Products are the Sassafras - life is beautiful pp, hand enamel embossed heart, lace and stamping.Products are the Sassafras - Serendipity pp, die cut stars. (which are also on the inside) I scraplifted this from Elisa over at Caardvarks, cause I just fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

These are the general invitations I've emailed her for approval, but I also have 8 keepsake invitations to make for special people like godparents etc, I'll show those once made.

I really need to get my butt into gear with my 365 days, I'm quite behind now, even though its for fun, I want to get up to date, I have new glasses as from Wednesday so I'm gonna use this photo for my eyes!!! I'll post when its all up to date so you can peek!

Her Space My Space catch up for a couple of days

Sloth - first called the 'sin of sadness', now described as melancholy: apathy, depression, laziness and joylessness or the failure to utilize one's talents and gifts.I went for lazy sloth today, its amazing how we just sit and flick now! I remember getting up to turn the tv over, on and off! Just doesnt happen anymore.

Wrath - inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred and anger. These feelings can be manifest as vehement denial of the truth, impatience with procedure of law, and a desire to seek revenge.Bit of a silly take on wrath, but why oh why, just when you think you've done it all, more appears, it gets me so angry - lol - my mate has a bit of an ocd with laundry so I know she will not agree with me here - you know who you are!!!!

Tels off work this week so its nice to spend some quality time, we are busy (well I say we as in he) in doing the finishing touches around the house. Tomorrow we are going to try an Ikea journey again! I get my new glasses today, so hopefully the migraine will stay at bay!!!

January is out of the way and here is my first LO for my weight loss journey!I really dont like this photo of me at all, but thats what I'm trying to change I suppose with my weight loss.

I started my sponsered slimathon last week and last night I had my first weigh in! Amazingly I lost 3.5 pounds, I really dont know how the hell I did that! I was really surprised, overwhelmed and mega mega happy, still am. Only five more weeks to go!!

I have some more canvases on Ebay, here's a peek, the others will be on tonight. I've embroidered and embellished them all.

HS-MS has been hijacked! Andrew and Suzieb have taken over for awhile and blimey, they've certainly started off on a roll!!! I'm doing a catch up here!

Our Riley certainly loves his food, always alot of waste on the floor though too - lol

Greed (or avarice) - like lust and gluttony, a sin of excess; applied to the acquisition of wealth in particular

Its greed to me, cause if I started to eat these, I'd eat them all....
