Crazy Crazy S.O.S

A promise that's been remembered for some time is to play Crazy Golf, so this morning off we trotted to Wicksteed Park, which just happens to be very close to us and a game we had!'Noooo Pap, you do it like this - you have to get it in there!'A huge hot dog for such a little fella - but he ate it all!!!
and for HS-MS today I chose this one Just because its Riley - messy as usual... and oooh I think I'll be able to use this with my June Bad Girls kit, wonder why!!! hehehe...

A good evening had at the allotment last night, lots of 'weeding' done, another evening tomorrow planned, hope the rain holds off! cause its RoundUp night...

On a roll!

Well its the dreaded S.P.S day at HS-MS but I opted for a shot of Jack instead! In his own true words 'Mummy stop clicking at me, your doin me head in!' lol Thanks honey

Last night saw me using a sewing machine for the first time in about 18 years!!! Basically since my school days, but I'm so into fabrics at the moment I want to create, create and create some more.

So I made this for myself as a first project, and possibly some gift ideas too.Take no notice of wonky stitching please, I'm just chuffed to bits its all holding together! lolMy lubbly watercolours will now be housed in here, I'm quite certain they will be very cosy - do you?
Big allotment plans this weekend! So busy busy busy...

My baby has eyes...

My baby went to the groomers for the first time todayMy eyes filled up when I saw him, I could actually see his eyes and he was gorgeous. When I fetched him he had a top notch in, but his hair is still a tad short for it to stay in, but I will persist with it, cause we'll see his beautiful big soppy brown eyes then. I had a brilliant comment made on my grooming him, which I was rather pleased with, smug look on face I can tell you.
They did a fantastic job, so pleased and we will certainly be going back again.

HS-MS

For HS-MS today I'm using the best Ebay find ever!
Can - A metal containerWhen me and Tel first got together I bought him a signed Kurt Cobain picture for his birthday which was pretty special, but for christmas I wanted to get something pretty unique too.
When he opened this up He looked at me puzzled!!! 'Erm why have you bought me a mashed up lager can?'

Well tonight you'll see why, so once the lights were dimmed, out come the tea light and hey presto, Kurt Cobains face appeared!!! Bloody fantastic if you ask me - I think Tel was in shock cause he just kept staring at it!!! He loved it by the way... :)
Tonight I'll have to try to remember to take a photo of it!

Busy finishing off my write up for my next project over at ECP and making teachers cards in advance - just thinking about what to make them as an end of year pressie!

So I'm off to my pit as soon as...

Edited to add*** I dont watch soaps anymore, they bore me! but I do love Hollyoaks, always have, and I have just watched tomorrows episode on E4!!! I've just lost a million tears and more

booty-licious baby

I myself am not into parchment, as in I don't do it as part of my crafting hobby. Over on Trimcraft, I noticed some gorgeous booties and contacted the crafter concerned to see if she would kindly make me some, and she did, aren't they gorgeous - love um - thank you so much LinHS-MS today is Educate - To give intellectual, moral or social instruction.
Standard item but first thing I could think of this morning, we are hugely proud of Jack as his reading is coming on a treat and he really enjoys doing it, he's moved up another class which is fantastic :)

Had coffee with a friend today and boy did we chat!! lol Thanks honey

More things to go on Etsy tonight - bbl x

Ripe and Crabby

I'm feeling crabby today!!! and I believe everyone knows it and poor Riley is showing me how his lungs work to the extreme too! He's finally asleep and I'm grabbing a cuppa and chilling for a min whilst I can.

Todays HS-MS is Ripe - Developed to the point of readiness. As you can see my take is 'over' ripe - I kept forgetting that this bowl of yummyness was in the fridge.. now there all in the bin :(

Etsy

I've had my first sale on Etsy - I'm soooo happy...
I put these
and these onand they sold - yayyyyy

Last night I watched this film
I'd never seen it before but remember it been filmed as when I worked at my branch job I had to walk past this factory everyday!!!
So apart from it having me in fits of giggles, I was like 'I use to walk through that alley, bet it didnt stink off p*** though when they were filming' lol
Brilliant film, although as in any typical 'true story' film, nothing like what actually happened...

Gonna toddle off to bed now..

HS-MS

Fringe - An ornamental edge or a natural border to hair. Thats one hell of a fringe yeah...
I dont know how anyone else does it - but how the hell do you get a puppy to sit still for five mins, when he's asleep you cant tell which way round he is!! lol

Good ole Amy Butler

Last night saw me doing an overnight babysitting for my buddies kiddies... I have to say they were good as gold. Didnt half miss home, my honey and my babies though lol.

Phew...

Another 'meeting' done and dusted last night, we'll see how the outcomes of that work out!

Today I had the most amazing and overwhelming feeling, nothing else can be said on that but wow...

Playing catch up with HS-MS, yesterdays prompt (I was way too busy!) was
Grid - A framework of spaced bars crossing each other.
Todays is Lamp - A device for giving light.
Mine certainly isnt as groovy as Anitas but way hey its light isnt it...

Purchased this book not so long ago by Sandra Evertson
May treat myself by having a crafting session with it tonight!!

HS-MS

Nothing crafty to show as having good general clearout - again...
I put another pound on last night!!! I am seriously stuck in that rut of take off - put back on, take off - put back on... very sad. Oh well back on it again today though.

HS-MS is Yawn - Open one's mouth wide to inhale deeply due to tiredness or boredom. He was one tired and teething little gem...
I have to say Anitas anatomy of a yawn picture is awesome and very very cute, you must go see.

The whole reason we bought our Shih Tzu puppy Wicket is because my honey bunny of a friend showed me a picture of their new addition!!! I was straight on the phone asking where she'd got her from... How adorable is the delightful Ruby - How on earth do they see!!!!

Recycling HS-MS!

I love recycling stuff - anything really - I use to do it loads and I need to get back into it... I suppose the push was reading Debbies blog, its true there is such a stigma with 'charity shopping' but such bargains you can find. I was walking past one here the other day and I saw this amazing printed dress in the window and I was thinking of all the items I could make if I cut into that!! weird eh... so watch this space, some recycling art will be coming this way...

HS-MS is Hydrate - To fill or absorb with water.

These are my red pepper plants which need to planted out up the allotment very soon - they need lots! of water...

A lovely nights break from the kids (I'm babysitting - eeekkkk) to Sedgebrook Hall.
I used my Bad Girls may kit for this.

Yesterday my card for the Am I scrap addict sketch went liveI used Sassafras robotics pp's

and to end today as I'm busy waiting for my new fridge freezer hehe so exciting -

HS-MS is Bell - A hollow object with the shape of a deep inverted cup.

whoever it was who made the weather so gorgeous yesterday... considering the forecast was rain rain and more rain - again I say thank you...Yesterday my best buddy only went and bloody done it!! she married her man - ahhh how sweet - we were so proud and honoured to be their witnesses but nervous also.
All six - yes no typing error - six of their kids looked scrummy pink and gorgeous in their outfits and my little ones didnt look too bad either. This is their gorgeous little girlie that I help look after sometimes whilst Cazz is at work, isnt she a babe...

I'm proudly using Lexie for my HS-MS sps and sos photo of the weekend, because for that girl to stand still long enough is a miracle - x

Friday 13 June 2008

Well...

...Who's getting married in the morning, ding dong the bells are gonna chime! ...My bestest buddy is getting married tomorrow (afternoon) so I dare say that my HS-MS portrait with be of them, I hope and pray I get some gorgeous quality shots of them. Even I'm getting nervous now!!! lol

Altered CD

Forgot to post this earlier, over on PCJ we are having an Altered CD swop, I've never done one of these before.I used my Bad Girls May kit as I'm just loving those papers - well I love attacking them with my scissors :)

If you've never popped on over to Papercraftjunkies, you really should, always have tons going on over there and we're a lovely bunch of peeps - honestly.

HS-MS

Drip - To let small drops of liquid fallOdd photo! Well I'm keeping up to date with my 365 days (take a peek) at the moment, but I am having to go back and fill in some gaps of photos. This been one of them, it was a photography prompt about shutter speed. I think I did it right 1/1000!!! Well I'm impressed with it, even if it is wrong lol

Off to finish altering a CD now!

Oooh and huge congrats to this chap, I must admit I was very surprised... but well deserved.Lee Mcqueen - The apprentice

Project, Catch up and me..

A quick and easy 'Fathers Day card from the kids' project that I did for Easy Craft Projects is now ready for download - you can check it out hereI used the gorgeous Sassafrass robotics papers, all instructions are on the download.

I'm playing catch up with HS-MS - Burst as in a gorgeous burst of colour from this flowerand trapped - I couldnt resist I had to use this, from when my dear penelope had her babies, bless this little one, he was certainly trapped!!!and as for me! Well its high time I gave myself a good kick up the butt regarding anything to do with me really!!! Especially Slimming World... I've figured out that having a goal to aim for just really does not work for me! I just need to do it, I've been fart arsing (pardon the expression) for too long, a stone and a half weight loss is great, I grant that - but I've been going long enough to have lost more than that!!!
So rather than a goal, I have to think of something else to keep me motivated!! I'll update with hopefully progress!! lol
Yesterday I sat and wrote one of the hardest letters I believe I've ever had to write! I truly hope something comes off it, if not - I believe that there is nothing else I can do, other than wait and hope.
