All well and good

- down on the farm! Well the allotments anyways :)

My courgettes are growing a treat, my tomatoes are showing (ubber excited about those) lettuce, sweetcorn and mangetout are just starting to show and I've got lots more in the offerings too. I'm starting small this year as its my first time, I've got great plans for next year (from Sep that is, all drawn up, literally - Is that sad lol - dont care)

I made a new friend, I shall call him ratcat! considering he was a rat - the size of a cat that is!!!

Anyways because I started small I dug up the last of my spuds!but they were delicious.... :)

Today I have my niece coming to stay for a couple of weeks, so I've got a few things lined up to keep all the kiddies entertained, and she loves crafting too so thats a bonus. I can see lots of photos happening over the holidays. Hope the weather keeps up cause its been gorgeous.

I'm rejoining herspace-myspace today after taking a break from a few things, (and feeling better for my break too) today is 'SOS - Show Off Sunday'This has to be my favourite photo of Riley in a long time. He's one of those little lads that just does not sit still!!! He's always in the drawers at home and he found the little chefs outfit, he walked around for ages in his 'new hat'

I love the 'crossprocess' look for some reason on photoscape!

Thats it from me folks x

I've managed to drag myself to sort his room out ready for my niece staying from Sunday! and I've been a busy making lots of new thingies for my Etsy store, I've added a fair few pieces of my altered art as well...

Ummmmmmmmm

For a little while I've been feeling a tad in the dumps! but thankfully since doing my postnatal depression course at the end of last year, I recognised what was going on so I decided to slow down and put a halt on a few things. I'm feeling much better, not to 100% but very nearly there.

Off with the depressing crap now and onto more cheery shite!!!!!! lol

My gorgeous little fella finished year one today, what a year, it didn't start too great in my eyes, a mixed class, not much communication but it got there in the end with a lot of help from friends!
Jack has progressed so much this year, he's gone up so many stages in his reading, his writing is gorgeous and as always he still loves his art work.
He's actually been coming out of school with a smile on his face and 'actually' telling me what he's been doing that day at school.

I thoroughly believe in Read, Write Inc, its fantastic, its whats helped Jack progress. Thank you thank you thank you Ruth Miskin

To thank the teachers I made some birdie cards but to thank the special teachers that have helped Jack in different areas I made these for

Mrs Mockford, his year one teacher
Mrs Breakspeare, his teacher in read, write inc (Jack was so upset when he moved up sets recently as she was not going to be his teacher anymore :(
Mrs Mutton, who since reception has been working with Jack once a week to help build his confidence through her gross motor class
All of the chipboard books, have teacher quotes on the reverse of them.
Thank you to everyone, means tons to me how much Jack has come on, I'm one proud momma...

Well

after saying last night that I'm taking a blogging break, it wasnt for long was it!! well I am taking a break really this is just the update really I should have put on here yesterday!
I've made a few decisions over the weekend about me and how I'm feeling. So for a few weeks I'm taking a step back to look at everything and what I do and figure out, out of all of this what I need and dont need.
I'm taking a break from slimming world, so the pressure is off there, my consultant is fantastic and really understood where I was coming from when I emailed her, I will most certainly be back though, just need the break to, well, like I said, step back for awhile.
Ive been having a huge craft clearout, I'm selling my sizzix machine, loads of dies etc, the link for it is here. I've been jotting down what needs to be done around the house (you know the little diy jobs that never get done but get you down!) and just generally sorting sorting sorting.
Hopefully an early one for me tonight as Riley playing me up!! ttfn x

Tad busy last few days, with poorly doggie, poorly fella, half a crop and rabbit feeding! Phew...
No allotment sessions, dam weather -

Yesterday other than the poorlies! I managed to find time to pop along for half a session to the new crop over in Corby with this lovely jubbly bubbly new scrapbooking honey of mine! Rosie...

Gorgeous cupcakes and a chipboard tag the size of mount everest, lots of giggles and paper cutting to be had - we were the billy no mates club though, so lots of advertising and we'll get this club off the ground Rosie - promise - hehehe :)
I used remains of Junes Bad Girl kit to cover the tag, like it alot.
Over at Easy Craft Projects my new project for the month is up which is a layout and includes a sketch, go take a peek and remember to link back to me if you have a dabble with it. x

Paint Galore

Last night saw the return of the other half of my mojo!!! because I just couldnt stop! Maybe it was helped along by new photos and and my new Bad Girls kit but hey I dont care, I was just happy to be creating again! I have one that I cant show you just yet! This little lad can eat and eat and loves all his food, and his favourite saying 'I Want More'

This is for the Bad Girls apron challenge this month, you had to use paint. I'm pretty new to putting paint on LO's so I practically just chucked it on!!

HS-MS today is Upside Down!Well he's nearly upside down, my bestest puddy wuddy ever - Gizmo...

Wednesday 2 July 2008

50 percent

Last night saw the return of half of my mojo, I had the sudden urge to do a couple of LO's with an old bad girls kit, that I still havent used much! This is a photo taken from my 365 days of journalling, so it was quite apt to write about how much I 'note' things down. Our baby boy Wicket as a tiny puppy, a really dark photo but hopefully the bright papers make up for that, they at least show his bubbly personality! the cartoon strip worked cause he has a gorgeous teapot curly tail! :)

HS-MS today is Chain - and I'm now off to relax as I had the wierd urge to start chopping at our hedge!!! My arms are now like jelly and wobbling all over the place~~~~~
Talking of Bad Girls its their first anniversary and they are having a month full of challenges and more inspiration, so pop on over its all free

Hula Hula

Yesterday went by in such a blur! I'm the proud 'grower' of a courgette!!! I can honestly say I had a boogie when I saw that - I can officially now say, I grow my own... :)

HS-MS catch up with Twist from yesterday Jacks runner bean from school, which will shortly find a new home at the allotment
and Dig todayJust one of the rusty ole shovels lying around!!

Can you remember your sports day at school well its certainly not like it was when I was a wee gal! sack race, egg and spoon race, relay and the list goes on. It was Jacks sports day today, last year in reception it was great, they did races against each other, just how it should be, as life after school is competitive!

Today with year one and year two they did activities like skipping, catch ball, dribbling and Hulathese were great dont get me wrong and the kids enjoyed it, but then they finally had a race, yay and Jack came 2nd - well done honey - xxx(blurred not just for effect but obviously cause of other kids been in the photo!)
I seem to have lost my crafting mojo, if anyone finds it can they post it back to me please :(
