Christmas Craft Raffle

Over on Quirky Crafts Forum I'm running a Christmas raffle which is open to people outside of the forum also.

I am constantly adding to the prize, and in total the raffle prize will be in excess of £100 in crafting goodies :)
The main prize is a cuttlebug die cutting machine, other prizes include a Zutter round-it-all with tote bag, denim mini book, smirk papers and much much more

Tickets can be purchased here for £2 each and you can purchase as many as you like. The winning ticket will be picked on December 14th so there will be plenty of time for me to post it out and for you to pop it under your christmas tree :)

Ticket will picked by traditional printing out names from paypal and a lucky dip by one of my boys :)
If you manage to spread the word by commenting here and leaving a link on your blog then on 10th December a name will be picked from this blog post (who has a link) and a secret santa gift will wing its way to you :)

A link will remain in my sidebar until the 10th December
Good Luck x

SCD - Black and White

Finally I found a few mins of time to sit down and join in with Something Completely Different, the theme this week is inchies and black and white
You cant really tell but I used black stazon and went over the white with a sakura gel pen, I've used this to make an ATC which I'll show once I've photographed it :)

Great fun

It was my second crop yesterday and it was fun :) I taught my first ever class and everyone enjoyed it and loved their end product.Cant wait for next month now as its our Christmas month! so we are having party food, card making classes and just fun fun fun with friends and our stash.
Thanks everyone for coming and all the photos and November crop details will be on the crop blog shortly :)
On another note, I was freeeeezing up the allotment this morning, but I'm happy now that my flower bulbs, garlic and red onions are now in for over the winter. I managed to get them all planted before the rain came. Just a few more bits to prepare for over winter then it will be general bits to do, as I'm moving my compost area so that needs sorting last.

Ever had trouble getting your children ready for school! Well Riley has got to the point now where he locks himself away in the dog cage!!!!!!! (strange I know) and hides all the time! So nursery told me to do it, so today was the morning that Riley attended nursery in nothing more than a tshirt and a nappy! (his clothes obviously packed in a bag) he didnt like that at all! so hopefully he has learnt from that.
On the other hand I felt awful and had to ring the nursery to check that he was okay, of which he was fine!
Boys eh...

*snapped this on my mobile - you have to dont you lol*

Bleurgh...

Luckily I've had some schedule posts uploaded showing off challenges and goodies from my store as I've being a tad ill.
I'd felt quite achy all last week but it really hit me on thursday, it hurt so much the aching that all I could do Friday was curl up on the sofa all day and try to recover slowly *Hmmm bit difficult considering I have a very active toddler in the house* but to be honest he was really well behaved so I did manage to rest.
I had so many plans for the weekend visiting friends that they really got put on the back burner :( which I was so upset about. I managed to make the short journey to Stephs on Sunday *as I had kits to pick up and sort out ready for my crop next weekend* so a few cuddles from there gorgeous new puppy certainly helped lighten the mood :)
I left my camera at home, and just chilled for the day.
Also I've taken a break from most of my computer commitments this week too and feel so much better for it, so now I know its good to turn this darn laptop off once in awhile in the evenings once all things are done and dusted, have an early night or enjoy my crafting for me :)
I can see my weeks being ran like that from now on :)
Lots of updates to come this week :) Hope you are all well my blogging friends x

Frame their artwork!

I've being wanting to do this for so long and finally got round to it last week.

I bought two cheap frames from ikea (I believe they were just over a £1 each)

I put two base coats of white metallic paint on first and left to dryWith a damp cloth I rubbed on some green paint and left to dry

Using my ole faithful tape writer I chose my wording and stuck to the bottom right corner of each frame
and thats it, perfect to frame the little ones artwork, an ever changing picture on our wall :)**sorry for the not so good photo, quite difficult to take a photo with no reflection! lol
