Hmmm this is why our Christmas tree is coming down tomorrow!!!!After toys been thrown into it and a dog constantly walking under it, it hasnt lasted that long this year! lol

I just cannot help myself, but I constantly look on Etsy for gorgeous creations and cute cute findings and this morning I came across this Cutie Cootie!!!!

Christmas goes so quickly doesnt it :( All that preparation, worry and rushing around and then its gone.

We had a good time, even with a few minor mishaps along the way! The first one been leaving the turkey out to defrost and whilst out the cat eating the wing off!!!! thankfully didnt touch the rest so after a bit of butchery it was fine, WONKY but fine!

Christmas night and snuggled on the sofa with a couple of biscuits from a tray pack! oops forgot to put them back in the cupboard, one said shih tzu!!!! ate the lot!

Our Christmas Tree has most certainly been trashed, the majority of the pine needles are on the floor and the tree is left with very bare branches! so tomorrow I'm sad to say but its a coming down!!!!

We are faulty towers i'm certain of it lol

Anyways back to the good stuff, Riley adored his choo choo train
and Jack was shocked to find he'd got an xbox 360

and out of his kindness he decided to give his cousin his ps2 and games - how sweet

Parents were here today for another pressie giving and now its time to relax again.

I'm really enjoying working on my journal this year, I do a page as and when I can and take notes for the days I'm behind, but I'm managing to catch up :)

jyc 17 - Perfect Gift - Sadly I cant show this at the moment as the person who's gift it is stalks my blog!
I will show you some gift wrapping though :) I love to re-use packaging and sometimes they make perfect gift bags and boxes. Who needs sprinkles and confetti when you have buttons!

We've been busy today finishing off the food shop, just gotta buy fresh stuff on wednesday. All the chrimbo pressies are purchased, gonna finish wrapping them tonight :)

As I was putting all the food away, obviously had no room for the rest of the food goodies so ended up clearing and sorting all cupboards out! oh well at least its done now!

Tels got two more night shifts left and then he has two and a half weeks off :) So christmas certainly starts then. I've got a costa coffee date with a friend and the gym before the big day.

jyc 14 - Present giving, I decided to share a story about my lovely old Uncle Bill who every year wrapped a gift for my Mum and me, of american tan tights, an illuminous scarf and glove set and £5 taped into a card :) I love those memories and miss him very very much

Sorry about the wait, with getting the house sorted it got pushed to one side.

Right I sold 40 tickets so the grand total was £80 raised towards the prize fund and running of the forum :) I'd like to thank everyone for purchasing their tickets, I wrote down all the lucky people on raffle tickets and chucked them in a glass jar

Life

certainly gets in the way sometimes doesnt it!

Today we finally got our real christmas tree in the living room but thats all, it wont get decorated until tomorrow as it needs time to settle. Lovely pine smell in the house though :)

Still have a few things left to get towards pressies, and of course the obvious food shop.

Oh and trying to keep the house 'ace' just in case we get any viewers!!

Riley has been poorly again with a high temperature the last few nights, and I saw the doctor yesterday and he's certain I had swine flu when I was so ill last week!!!

I'll let you into a peek of something i'll be working on over the christmas hols and new year to bring to my online shop :) !!!

I have two new adventures that I'll be starting, so I may be having a re-jig with everything that I do :) I'm excited so I hope you will be too :)

Right just waiting for friends to come round so I'll toddle off now, have a good weekend x

New Beginnings

may be on the horizon. You see we've seen a house for sale that we would like, I mean literally across the street! We love living here and have done lots to our little home but the one with a few steps across the road is a little bigger and has a garage, larger garden and a conservatory!

So guess what, today our house went up

Its kinda scary but exciting too! I love our home so much as its the first one we've had as a family, I love the decor too but new beginnings and all that. So fingers crossed we get a buyer so we can hop across the other side :)

Thought I'd show you the layout that was on my craft desk for woyww

I really enjoyed making this as I was actually making a few christmas cards at the time and just thought to myself 'do you know what, I want to scrap' :)
My mojo has gone recently due to not feeling that dapper so I'm quite happy with what came together.

I used foam thickers but popped some glossy accents on the top and I love how they turned out and I'll defo be doing that againAll of the products are available at Indigo Mill so pop on over here and see the store its jam packed full of scrapping goodness

So whats going on on my table then! Hmmm I found an ounce of mojo to do a layout for me using products from Indigo Mill, I have some christmas cards ready to go in their envelopes and thats about it really :)
