Retreat

I've just spent the most fun and relaxing and crafty weekend ever at this beautiful venueI've got so many new ideas to craft with, have made some adorable crafts and got hooked on decopatch!

I will photo what I've made and share tomorrow - I have come home with so many goodies that were in my goodie bag that I'm going to busy for sometime

I'm totally inspired into getting my craft room sorted now :)

I'm totally missing my friends already and certainly will not leave it so long next time before seeing them again x

Really need a kick in the butt-ski!

The handmade heart swap is well and truly underway and hopefully i'll get photos from all the girls to see the success that it was :)

I have so much crochet goodies to upload, especially fun and new colours for the mug cosies - super exciting
Lots of orders to complete

but for now I am off on a crafting retreat for a long weekend with friends and hopefully meeting new friends - I am as usual not ready, have to nip to town to get photos, still pack my crafty goodies and then start the journey, thankfully not alone but with my bestie :)

I'm currently building up a stock of new scarf colours - heres the hunter green -now in my folksy store
This particular scarf is much wider than the normal ones I do - I kinda went a bit mad with it! lol

A tad bit lapse

I really have being a bit lapse with blogging lately and I do miss it - like lots

I believe its a mixture of illnesses, family time, finding our feet in our new home (still taking me awhile) and my mojo being left in my previous home maybe.

I use to be so organised! That went out one of the windows sadly.

Now so's as I dont bore you to tears, I am having a major time management issue, I just cant fit everything in, but theres nothing else left to let go! so to speak.So over the weekend I gave myself a good telling off and set myself some working hours, so I dont feel that everything needs doing at once.

Quirky Boots is being tackled in the mornings whilst Riley at nursery and after the general day to day housework, also a bit in the evening to catch up with orders and the designing and creating of new goodies

Avon is being tackled with days to collect and deliver brochures, deliver orders and recruiting and training as and when it arises.

Family and Home time are super important because with Tels odd working hours (as in we never know what shift he's on!) theres never enough hours where we are all together at the same time.

Fingers crossed it all works :)

Pride

I was beaming with pride a moment ago when I opened up an email message off the lovely Katie

She's supported my Quirky Boots store so much she's a top customer :)

Today she sent me some 'fan' photos and it looks like she had such fun taking them :)

I really cannot thank her enough - it kinda made my day

Time Management

thats what I need at the moment! and lots of it...

Its all over and done with now but we certainly had some fun

We had our first halloween party this weekend so we were very busy dressing the house, cooking, baking and dressing up ourselves :)

I'm kinda hooked on doing fun pumpkins each year now :)

I made the table cloth by using up a huge muslin sheet I had and throwing loads of fake blood over it, although saying that you cant really see that by this photo! lol

Next year I think I'll use it for a back drop!

Wicket had his own little outfit and was getting lots of cuddles and scratches, he was loving it :)I got some super vampire fangs from the fancy dress shop and they stick over your teeth with a putty, and i'm proud to say that they actually stayed in all night and I managed to eat and drink and be merry too lolDid you have a good halloween :) We loved it, cant wait till next year now :)

Back soon with new crochet and felt updates, I'm busy finishing off odds and ends this week so I can have a HUGE shop update
