April was full of sunshine through the windows and baby chicks

May was full of baking, forests, garden adventures & shop keeping

June was full of pooches, shop keeping, decluttering, poorly boy with hospital visits, flowers & a superstar

July was full of forest walks, more hospital visits & becoming a sole trader in my dream little shop

August was full of more baking, more poorly boy, sunshine & note making

September was full of Lego builds, cake decorating, sunshine, finally feeling we are getting support with our little man

October was full of fun family time out, shop keeping & creating grannies

November was full of hot chocolate, a weekend away and a light at the end of the tunnel with the little man

December was full of fun and festive cheer

2013 was full of lots of things to be honest, stress and upset of a redundancy, stress and upset of a poorly little boy with seizures but no one knowing why even after lots of tests, and full of trying to keep a happy healthy family, none of which couldnt have been done without our strong family bond and the support and love of our closest friends xxx

75!

Yep thats right we celebrated my partners dads 75th birthday yesterday! He had my gorgeous fella late in life! Its rare for his family to all be in the same house let alone the same room so this was the best present you could give him
He enjoyed it which was the aim :)

Pet Christmas Stockings

I've had these red velvet christmas stockings for a few years now, the boys have other ones so I thought I would upcycle these for the pets of the household!
I printed off some paw prints that I found on google images and cut them out in vanilla felt for the cats and slate grey felt for our pooch
I handstitched each one in place
I love how they turned out, and santa was kind to them this year too! so they must have been good pets all year, wicket like it so much he kept trying to get in on the photo x

Instagram Catch Up

My parents came down a few days after christmas so we got to celebrate all over again
Presents were given and received and I was a little excited about opening mine as I kind of knew what it was and it was something I really needed! My last food processor lasted 10 years! so hopefully this will be just as good

They stayed for a buffet of food, drinks and catching up and then off on their way they went. I got to see my gorgeous niece again as I do miss not seeing her so much, she just keeps getting taller all the time! We spent some quality time by going to the shops together, still cannot believe she is 14 already
Riley loves his new drummer board and got to use his new headphones!
New board games were played
A new read was purchased
Some relaxing with said new read taking in that our bedroom is actually nearly finished!
and visiting friends, Jack found a new friend in Maria, who just wanted lots of cuddles off him :)
We're having a very relaxing New Years Eve this year but I have a 75th birthday to organise first! cupcakes are on the list!
