Easter Tree

Our small amount of easter decorations have come out of hiding to decorate our table for the easter weekend
The felt eggs I made a couple of years ago and kept because there super sweet

The boys have a personalised egg each too

 The wreath I made last year using some vintage fabrics and felt and love it

I treated myself to some pretty tulips too instead of a chocolate egg

Great Britain Rules

I am super proud to be british and iconic structures so when I saw these stamped images I had to use them in my work somehow and then embroidery hit me!
I've got more to add to the collection but for now there is the iconic red london bus

New ways to photograph

I've been re photographing all my stock at the moment as before all I took was a photo of the said product but I'm really enjoying it, its the simple things like a little prop here and there that makes all the difference
I havent managed to photograph all my brooches as I've sold out of some but heres what I have at the moment
My cute fox is a new design and my apple for teacher is super cute

 I adore bunnies and cute pandas

 The dachshund brooches sell super well and I've redesigned the packaging too

Pillowcase Aprons

I finally have some more pillowcase aprons in stock

The best thing about running a shop in a stable courtyard is that you have great backgrounds for photographs, so I gave it a try and I really love how they've turned out

Displays

Our shop has been open for a while now and we are slowly building up a range of display items which are a must in any shop
We went shopping and found the most amazing jewellery display in our local 'The Range' store

Its totally perfect for what we need, it already comes with the hessian backing and pins to hold things in place and has a magnet closure!

I love it when you find the perfect item at a perfect price especially at just under £20!

Fun Hair Clips

After making this hair clip for my friend I went into over drive and made up a few cute and fun hair clips
I couldnt resist making up a bunnie which would be great for easter bonnets

and a sunshine because well, the weather is dreary and wet and windy and everyone needs sunshine in their lives right!

I've been wanting to re do my photos for a long time so over the weekend I started with some of my cards and gifts tags

New Bathroom!

We're working on installing a new bathroom at the moment! Hopefully the main parts like plastering and fitting the new bath, sink and toilet will be done so we can then decorate!
Currently we are living like this!

Easter Snow Bunny

With easter looming Im expecting to see daffodils and spring breezes but the only sight of pretty yellow daffs are inside at home!

As for the last few days we've had a snowfall bigger than we've had over christmas, it settled on friday night and didnt stop snowing all day on saturday!

I badly want to get on with sections in the back garden but alas no gardening for a while at the moment!

 Its still breezy the boys have gone to school today and we're currently ripping our bathroom out! mad day today!

rarely seen!

thats right! the boys bedroom floor is sooo rarely seen I had to capture it whilst I could!

It wont last for long I know that!
I am super excited as well as they currently share a room but hopefully my eldest room will be done by the end of April, I do love decorating and shuffling things around x

Deer Pinnie!

Myself and my lovely friend are totally mad on Deers! for christmas I had the idea to create her a little gift with some sweet deer fabric I'd found, but I kind of got a little adventurous and made a pillowcase pinny with it instead, perfect for when she attends craft fairs
I quickly took this photo before I wrapped it up!

Really must get around to making one for myself too x

oh DEER!

I love deers, like totally love them as much as pretty red toadstools
At our market this month we had the talented Two Turtle Doves and I just couldnt resist this pin cushion purchase

Caroline is totally lovely and I cant wait to book her into my craft group to show us all the very same machine embroidery technique x

Upcycled - My Little Pony

Me and a few crafty friends agreed to do a challenge to upcycle a My Little Pony!
It took me ages to figure out what I wanted to do!

I finally came up with Pea-Ony (my sweet little peacock pony)

Keeley created a dragon

Lorna created a bookworm

and Ruth created a Ponollysaurus

Our next project is already under way and I've been sketching my idea out and I'll be honest I'm super excited about this one!
