Den Building

Den building is super fun I remember doing it so much when I was little
Riley was a little out of sorts yesterday so to cheer him up we threw blankets here there and everywhere and came up with a little den with cushions and a duvet, in front of the tv so he could snuggle up, drink juice, eat an icecream and play hide and seek in

By the end of the day I could have happily curled up in it and fell to sleep

Fabric Cake Buntings

During the summer holidays I've been working on lots of new cake toppers, but first I needed to update my fabric cake buntings as they were sold out
This is a new fabric that I have and its so pretty and floral I knew it would be perfect

He's been having vacant episodes again everyday this week, another call to the consultant on Monday me thinks!
He fell straight to sleep after this one, makes my heart ache and my head pound with worry

Walk in the Woods

We went off with friends to Fineshade Woods yesterday, I've never actually been and it was just brilliant
Lots of walks, play areas for the children, picnic tables and bugs and wildlife
After finding one batch of mushrooms, these ones in particular!

We went off on a search for the fairytale toadstool, sadly not one found but found hundreds of others!

We could hear crickets everywhere and finally found a whole bunch of them, this chappie was very photographic!

We found the best bug house ever too!

 Today me and the little man are building a house!

The weeks are certainly flying by now, only 2 and half weeks of the summer holidays left so trying to make them count
I've been busy this week redecorating my big boys bedroom whilst he was away, he loved the colours when he came home!

The sun is set to shine this week so we will be out and about as much as we can!

The boys are back in town!
They've been away at Nannys house for the week, my little one missed us terribly and is super happy to be home
Whilst they were away I've been super busy in the shop doing stock checks and having new sellers arriving with their amazing makes, the shop has been stocked to the rafters with so many pretty things

I love this sign, certainly need it in our house!

Jack will be off for a week tomorrow with his dad which gives me the week to paint his new bedroom! Cant wait to get started and see the end result! Hope he loves it too!

A day of!

My little one was helping keep shop today, with my studio just over the courtyard he found plenty to keep himself happy, including my buttons and stickles! eeeek not my stickles I was quietly saying inside, but he did make me a pretty bracelet and a picture of Mummy

Whilst inbetween serving customers I managed to sit outside and catch up on some paperwork and plans for the future!

Tough!

Yesterday was a tough day, our little one was not impressed with having the eeg again and neither were we as in all honesty the past three have showed up nothing!
The lovely nurse managed to get it on with glue! I drove and drove but he wouldnt sleep as he was so upset about all the wires so we ended up going back to hospital, removing it and making a point to tell the consultant that it was a no go!

Tough Tough Day, mentally and physically draining!
