woyww & progression!

I've not really felt that I can join in woyww since moving house as I havent really had a craft space to work in and when I have dabbled it has to be tidied up pretty quick as its our dinner table :(
**a promise to myself that my new studio will be finished in time for christmas**

But alas last night wasnt a crafty session as such more of a meeting with Michelle to sort out the rest of the Warkton Village Craft Market monthly events right up until christmas and to contact new possible stall holders to join us.

After our tummys were full with food we cracked open a bottle of blossom hill (even though after saturday night I swore I wasnt going to drink ever again - so that didnt last long) and discussed the night away.

This is how my table looked this morning
The pink files are stall holders put into monthly groups, a sneeky bag of maltesers may be lerking there too ;)
We now feel even more positive about our craft market and have some fun ideas for our christmas one in December
Do you join in with woyww - if so hi and sorry I've being missing in action, i'm going to try and get round a few of the others that join in, although there are a ton and a half now lol Pop on over to Julias blog to find out what all the fuss is about

  1. Hello, I noticed in one of your blog posts a few days ago you were sending out emails for the heart swap. Not sure if you had the chance but I didn't get one :)

  3. Good luck with the setting up of your new space. It's not quite the same when you have to keep tidying up all the time is it?

  4. Hope you get your dedicated craft space soon. As I live alone I feel I can make as much mess as I like (and I do!!) but I would love a separate room, really.

  12. You need a bigger dining table - that's where you are going wrong in the meantime! - this allows a table of indeterminate purpose to emerge - I get round the dinner issue by stacking everything to the back and sides ;)

  16. Am hoping to take a table at a local craft fayre this December so am making like mad - well trying to when my mojo doesn't go walkabout.
    Any tips on what sells?
Work space on dining table doesn't work - been there done that. You definately need a craft room.

  17. It doesn't matter where you craft, it only matters that you were able to join us this week. I know you want your own space, but at least you have the tools and supplies to make some fabulous creations. Hope you have a good craft fair in December. Happy WOYWW (#1).

  18. Good luck with the new craft space and the fair. Hoping to do my first one before Christmas, so would welcome any tips from an organiser's perspective if you have time. Glad the dining table is earning its keep in the meantime!

  19. You definitely need a good place to work in.. there would be nothing wrong with the dinig table if you did not have to eat

  23. The craft market sounds like a fair bit of work, well done for taking that on. As for the drink, I really haven't had any now for nearly two months, since a week of horrible hangovers after comparatively little drink! Maybe you'll get there too eventually....:P Helen (16)
