Floral Shoes - Tutorial

I first saw this tutorial over here and thought it would be great fun to have a go

I got some cheap wedge sandals, a bargain actually for £2 from a local charity shop
I painted three base colours using acrylic paints
and then outlined with black
added a few white and mustard detailsand ta-daI like them - alot,

  1. They look fab! How patient you are...three coats. I realise why, but nevertheless......!!

  2. Wow, there's no end to your creativity :) These are so cool and look very professional. Great pics too, so funky.

  3. argh julia no not three coats, just three different colours, i literally did blobs of colours x really easy and quick x

  4. Looking fab, shame summer is coming to an end. Look after yourself & relax a bit! x

  5. Whilst leaving a comment on the folksy site re blogging, which in turn lead me to browsing your one!

Love your layout of blog, especially how the other social spots have decorative backgrounds, something I'll need to learn how to do! If you have any tips on how to customise my page please feel free to share.

I have empathy to your last post on Monday and wish you through this difficult stage. Keep doing the things which bring you joy but let yourself be, it's okay to stand still every now and again.....

  6. Lovely shoes. Brilliant idea. I tried a similar thing with some wellies but not so good when they get wet.

  7. I just stumbled upon your blog somehow today..? I don't remember how, but I am a new follower!
I absolutely love these shoes, what a terrific way to cheer yourself up! :D
I would love for you to link these up at my linky party 'Frivolous Friday's' where it's all about how you 'treat' yourself!
    Hope to see you there!

Thank you for leaving a comment, they make me smile :)
