We had a lovely morning at Hamerton Zoo today, couldn't believe it was only half hour away from home. They have some stunning animals there and some mighty weird ones too!
This is a Marabou Stork and they can eat small animals up to the size of a flamingo!!! Freaky looking or what!
Its a great place because its more of a breeding facility for rare and endangered animals too.Look at this beautiful baby :) 
Everyone that knows me knows I adore elephants and tigers come a close second but I must admit if I had to pick a teeny tiny animal it would have to be a meerkat, aren't they just adorable, and how happy was I when I looked at today's photos and found these beauty's :) so pleased with how they turned out
We had a picnic and just some great family time in the fresh morning air :) Tel off to work in Scotland tomorrow so busy sorting all his stuff out :( x
