It took forever and hurt my fingers but was so worth it :) x

Warkton Market - December

The last one of the year and Michelle and I have learnt so much from the 5 fairs that we've hosted so far
December saw the first opening of our mini tea shoppe and we love it :)
*my camera ran out before I could take photos of the sit down area*
We had some fabulous crafters again this month
Steamed puddings, blossom cakes, button it, quirky boots
hags bizarre, bizzie lizzie, natures workshop, lollyrocket candles

We've closed up shop for January but we'll back in February with a Valentines theme x

Decopatch

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, at the retreat we were taught a technique called decopatch! Well Cazz fell in love with it, and I just wanted to decopatch everything right there and then!
I made these cute boxes
and I can see me doing more dolly pegs
and I couldnt leave me scissors out! Love um....
Be careful its addictive, I've already got two more projects lined up to keep me busy over christmas x

Baking

Thats what I've been doing today
I finally got round to creating a few recipes by the gorgeous Bakerella

When I first saw these peanut cookies I knew I had to have a go, I'm so pleased I did as they are 'y u m m y' in my 't u m m y'
I thought I'd give these banaberry muffins a go too as, well I had ripe bananas and blueberries lying around the house :)
Photos were taken on my phone! as I knew they wouldnt last long!
Give them both a go, I'm certain you will not be disappointed x

Home Shopping Event

Last week I hosted a mini shopping event in my home
I managed to bag myself some little gifts in the process
I'm soooo mad on hearts at the moment so had to have this off Hannah from Polka Dot Chicken Hayleigh from Lollyrocket Candles turns gorgeous vintage tea cups and saucers into her candle holders, and since I have a 'thing' for teacups at the moment, I had to have one, I got another for a christmas pressie also
Talking of tea cups, Ali from Blossom Crafts sources out vintage tea cups, add some tea and gift wraps them, so I had to have this mini little treat too :)Hayleigh also makes these pretty hearts, this one fitted perfectly into my new little black christmas tree with teal and silver decorations Hello from me :)
Its our handmade craft market this weekend, so cant wait to get more ticks on my christmas list

Festive

Me and my best friend go christmas shopping every year in Milton Keynes, for many reasons, obviously its great to shop, all under one roof, but for us its mainly

Breakfast consists of this
and snacks consist of these

Do you have certain traditions when it comes to christmas shopping!

Nativity

Thursday saw Riley and I going to West Lodge Rural Centre in Desborough to see a live nativity with his nursery, we were both super excited, we wrapped up warm for our day out and the fun started with a coach journey which Riley throughly loved!
We saw some super fun animals
and Santa was just fab - (even if he did call my dear sweet little man a girl! - I mean you'd think Santa would know wouldnt you!!!! lol)
We played outside lots and got very very cold!
Trust this to happen when I've only got my mobile phone camera on me!
We played in a maze lots trying to find each other, went for a brisk walk and really had fun especially looking at all the different chickens they had and choosing which ones we'd like to own next :)

Layouts

Yes layouts I know how long has it been!
I made these gorgeous (if I say so myself) layouts at the fabulous retreat I went to last month
I cut the inside out of the prima printables as I didnt like what I did with that, but after a suggestion made by lovely friend Marie I'm going to use it for something else!I have so many more layouts left to do, with full instructions on new techniques so they will keep me busy for some time :)

I super duper loved making this, a huge thank you to Emma for sharing this class with us all

Bend a good ole metal hanger to any shape you want, ribbon and fabric lengths, and handmade fimo accessories
I loved making the fimo hearts and candy canes that much I went on and made some more for my tree :)

Baking mad

I've always wanted to bake bake and bake some more and since finding food bloggers and there step by step instructions I've found it much easier and way more helpful than a recipe book to a degree!

I'm totally loving Bakerella (i've followed her blog for a loooong time now) , recently she's being on her huge book tour but sadly I doubt she'll ever come to the uk, so whilst I've had a poorly little one at home yesterday I started looking through her recipes even more, and i've found some fab ones :) So watch this space...
Although I wouldnt say no to these two books for christmas!!!!

Winter Warmers

Some fun chunky scarves to keep you warm in this wintery weather!
