I'm going to be introducting some felted hearts exclusively to my not on the high street store very soon, each heart will be unique as they are needle felted by myself so they will be different colours and sizes

I've got a new flower shape bunting hitting my stores this week, a fun string of five flowers in multi colours

Travelling Wool

My lovely friend Michelle who I run the craft market with sent me these photos on facebook, firstly I was jealous as I'm so badly looking for a vintage style suitcase

but then I found out what the contents were, I'm quite literally buzzing, Michelles Mum knew of my shout out for wool and take a look at this :)

I think I'm going to add some very small baby blankets to my list too :)

Something new coming to quirky boots very soon and they'll be very unique and one offs - so proud :)

Home Sweet Pea Home

Last night I had a delivery of another purchase I made from a market stall holder of ours

Its totally as gorgeous as I thought it would be, Hayleigh somehow manages to find the most beautiful coloured glass objects (which I have a soft spot for and she now knows all too well!) and fills them with delicious smelling candles

All of her candles are hand poured in her own kitchen in Northamptonshire (but I'm certain she'd post out too)

Well here's my latest purchase and it smells gorgeous - my home is now filled to the brim with sweet pea scent

and yes the glass is beautiful and all mine :)

I've got a thing for chairs at the moment!

I won this gorgeous old chair on ebay last week and finally got around to collecting it today. It was in a fabulous old building in the middle of nowhere, these buildings were the old gunpowder stores and read more about it here on the antique stores website

Anyways back onto the chair. It needs a little tidying up but the lady was lovely and even told me how to fix the broken cane area.

I've got plans for this to become my craft room chair, cant wait to get started on it, hopefully with a clean up, fix up and some new fabric it will look even more gorgeous than it already does.

Felt Felt and more Felt please

Yesterday was the day of my crop I was super super excited as a lovely friend of mine was coming to teach - you guessed it - felting

Emma is so so bubbly I love her to bits and havent seen her since November, I've missed her so much and it was great to be able to have a catch up crafting session with her.

Its quite to difficult to run a lovely handmade craft market and come away with nothing, so these are my purchases this month

Wool Donation PLEASE

Last year I donated lots of brand new premature baby clothes to my local hospitals special care baby unit. They were really thankful and it made me feel really good to be able to do that.

This year I wanted to donate something again, so I'm asking for some help - please -

*I'm not asking for cash donations*

I'm going to make some premature baby size hats up in various colours for the babies to wear in hospital and to be given as a little present to parents when they are able to take their babies home

All i'm asking for is wool - I'd like to use organic wool similar to this make as its so soft to the touch

I'm hoping to get enough donations (also i'll donate but I cant afford too much hence this post) so all through March I can get crocheting, if I have lots of donations then I'll spill into April and donate to another local hospital as well.

At the end I'll give a HUGE shout out to everyone that has helped me with this quest :)

On the go

I'm using my evenings at the moment to play catch up with making orders and designing new ideas

I'm kinda in a position at the moment, I dont know if I do too much of different things and enjoy it or should concentrate on certain designs - I'll sort it out soon enough! The trials and tribulations of trying to succeed eh! lol

Market Stalls

Heres a few photos to show the quality we are having at our handmade craft market, its so great too that we have different stall holders each monthIf you live locally our next market is 19th March 10-4, pop along and look at all the gorgeous handmade wares and rest your feet with a cup of tea and homemade cake, the village is gorgeous to walk around too :)

It was our handmade craft market this weekend, it went so well that Michelle and I are still smiling. It was busy and chatty and such a good atmosphere, we're both so proud of it.
I only had a small table as Riley has been so poorly with the chicken pox that I havent had a chance to finish alot of things off.
Heres my stallSee that pink chair! I'll share that later :) It was my bargain find of the year so far and I'm totally in love with it - I could have sold it so many times over on Saturday but no no no :)

slowly does it

Its a slow process getting a website designed and updated, I keep changing my mind about the layout of the whole thing, the headings, the groups, the sub groups! nightmare - but I am slowly getting there

My little Riley is covered in the pox so tends to just flop on my lap so I cant move, or last night was the worst as I got no sleep due to a very tearful boy who couldnt understand why he was itchy and why it hurt so much - heartbreaking :(
