Last Day...

... of Reception... wow where did a school year go, I think I was more upset than Jack! Dont think he quite realises how long 6 weeks is yet, he asked if he was going to school this morning, bless him.
Here are the cards I made for the support teachers that Jacks had all year, I am just loving felt flowers and handwriting now!
and here is the mini book I made for Mrs Cadman, I havent totally agreed with her throughout the school, but Jack adores her and he certainly is learning so I made her this lovely mini book which I thought was a tad more personal. and I also just wanted to share a photo of my boys, when this downloaded I felt so proud, I mean really really proud, they both look so happy, thank you babies. We are in the middle of major redecoration!!! Due to a mis calculation of measuring for a fireplace!!! We were just going to put new flooring down! await delivery of our new leather sofa (today - Monday) - hehe - and hey ho - but NOOOO - in one night (Sunday) we've had to strip all the walls, remove an old concrete fireplace and now have a gaping hole in the wall and floor! a brand new - very expensive - leather sofa in the living room with the laminate not arriving till tomorrow!!!!! (Tuesday)
Hence Mummy, Jack and Riley are off to Nanny, Pop Pops and Megans for a week to leave dear old him indoors to finish off - bless him. Good Luck babe.
I'd like a ribbon to cut when I arrive home to see the master finish!
Here's a sneak peek at the chaos!!!!

Night night for now... Gonna miss my mate Cazz whilst we're away, you better make sure you've got credit gal - lol.

Sports Day

Wow, its was Jacks first Sports Day today! I was so worried for him, but it was fantastic, I loved every minute, I'll post photos once I have them, used Cazzs camera as was taking photos of every ones kiddies... Jack and Jake were racing against each other and were having such fun, Jacks highlight of the day was receiving a sticker off Mrs Cadman!
When they were told to get their Brother and Sisters for a race, Jack came running over for Riley, who I said 'Sorry but he's too little for the race' which really upset Jack and made him tearful - bless him, maybe next year honey - promise.

Challenge Nineeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Make a card with a clock on your card front!!!
This certainly was a challenge and a half for me...
This was a tricky one for me, no clock stamp, no clock embellishments so popped onto google images and found this pretty clock face!
Urban window - Homemade cotton throw and green ruled paper.
A simple card for a Sympathy! My Step Uncle passed away so I had this in mind for my Grandad, sympathy cards are so hard to do, so this was nice enough I thought without been in your face.

Sorry for the dark photos, it was pretty late when I finished the card as friends came over!
I did lots of baby gift baskets for my website today, so I will pop some photos of them on tomorrow.

Night night for now x

Eight!!!

Well Caardvarks are certainly testing us now, challenge 8 is '8 is enough'!!!
Make a card using 2 patterned papers + 2 ribbons + 2 stamps + 2 circles
So here's my go! Papers - Chatter Box, Olive Sunbursts & American Crafts, pomegranate. Gold and green ribbon. Two swirl stamps (Only just getting into stamps so have very few! These are new from Papermania I believe and are foam stamps) Two circles - one rub on from 7gypsies journal arrows and one green button.
Text is from AMM 'sticky little words' on a mini clipboard.

Hope you like. x

Challenge 7..

..Caardvarks stumped me on this one!!! I really lost my creative streak that I've had for the last six days, but I finally came up with this. Bo Bunny velvet flowers paper, stamped house then watercoloured and a red silk flower. Hence - Good Luck in your new home... I didnt have anything shamrock - y!!! Oh well
To add to this, my little boy lost his first tooth last night - whilst eating pizza! He was none the wiser until I let out a yelp of 'Open your mouth baby'

We told him that the tooth fairy would do a magic spell so the tooth would come out of his big toe whilst he was asleep and then she would leave him some money - couldnt face a sleepless night if I told him the truth!
Excuse the messy hair - he's a monkey for getting up at 6am nowadays! lol

My lovely friend Becky cut and coloured my hair today and I took a few shots of her gorgeous baby girl - sadly though my battery was running out so all the shots were blurred, this is the only one thats of any use!
Beautiful Kyanna - which I cannot find the meaning for the name anywhere!!! Someone help!
Da da da, da da da, da da da da da da da - oh dear how I hum in my head, send myself to sleep, which is where I am off to right now. Sleep tight, dont let the bed bugs bite x

Caardvarks Challenge 6...

Only four more to go and then the Caardvarks 10 card challenge is finished! What will I do with myself - oh yes the laundry maybe!!! lol

Todays challenge - make a 6" x 6" card.

For those that know me, you know how much I LOVE decoupage, I really do, especially these Marij Rahder ones, I dont like to take the eye of it too much, so embellished the rest of the card with ribbon and a bit of doodling (another love of mine)

Enjoy...

Bye z bye for now :-)

Sunday...

Well done to Lewis Hamilton, third is still great in my book, especially for such a young lad. I hope he's out celebrating tonight.

I have my Caardvarks number 4 challenge - Make a card with 4 squares as the focus of your card front
Blue bazzil cardstock, raindrop scrap paper, silver frames and die cuts.
I also altered a notebook as a challenge on Just Bexs forum, notebook cost 47p from Tesco, and used up some scrap papers and fibres, and I love it.
The reason behind the 'mood book' is that I currently am seeing my health visitor as my pnd has slightly come back now I've had my second child, not half as bad as the first time but I asked for some support as I got bugger all last time and really suffered.
My crafting most certainly helps and I love all these blogs with challenges, really makes me stretch the imagination.Off to do a LO for the Sprinkles blog now. TTFN X

Large update...

Wow, havent been on here for awhile! Busy at home, but back on the crafting track now.
I've found some fantastic card sketch blogs over the last week, so heres my take on them all.

Caardvarks are doing a ten day challenge, heres the first two!

One - Make a card using one stamp on your card front and Two - Make TWO cards using the same supplies

Sketch this card is another fantastic and inspirational site so i'll be popping on there weekly for the challenges set, at the moment they are doing a 3 week challenge, sadly I'm in the UK so cannot enter, but I can still play along, heres my take of the first sketch

Lilybean paperie is another blog I found and I needed to make my bestest buddy a birthday card and her challenge fitted in rather well. So again heres my take on a birthday card incorporating red, food related, bit of bling and a star!

and to finish for the moment (even though I have loads more to add, I dont want to send you to sleep) I finally treated myself to a bear die cutter! I have an order for possibly over 60, so purchased one for myself, thank you Tracey for the link.

Be back later with more TTFN x
