Finally - in the Gutter!

Yesterday Riley and I toddled off to my favourite garden centre of all time! Poddington its just down the road from the famous Santa Pod race track and its a gorgeous village too.
We sat munching on toasted tea cakes and watching the HUGE fish swim by!!! The whole reason we go is cause the boys love to see these babies...
Lots of fresh herb plants bought, hopefully if the rain drys up today i'll be able to pot them! :)

I also finally got my arse into gear and joined in with the fab new scrapbooking blog Gutter GirlzThis LO was for prompt 5 - Blabber Mouth, Song - Break stuff by Limp Bizkit and The Product - Duck Tape....

Missing

my honey already and he only left for Scotland yesterday!! :(
Although his phone call last night cheered me up no end, especially when they found out that him and his mate had been booked into a 'double' room, they ended up swapping with someone else and have now got the pleasure of the 'honeymoon suite' with four poster bed included!!! lmao
Luckily there is also a pull out sofa bed... only them eh!
He did send me a photo of the view from the window and its a blooming waterfall... alright for some, all I'm currently looking at is UPS van parked outside! (Ooh hold on thats for me... :) )

Now the summer holidays are nearing there end, I have the next two weeks roughly planned so I am feeling confident that I can re-join HS-MS again, as I hate dipping in and out when I can, I love to join in daily.. So today I find that SuzyB is taking over for awhile whilst Kirsty and Anita are busy elsewhere, the letter for today is SMy gorgeous wind chime from Cyprus
and here's a sneak peek of my new project that will soon be showing on Easy Craft Projects

Thanks for looking :) x

Precious

Tonight I'm going to see my friends Granddaughter for the first time, she was born a few weeks back but she had a few complications and was very poorly.
Thankfully she has made a full recovery and is now home. So I get to visit hehehe
Newborns are so precious and you have to admit they make your heart miss a beat - but I'm not broody! Well I haven't seen her yet! ;)

I've made a nappy cake for baby and this keepsake card with a difference
(it wouldn't photograph very well! - gutted)
and for the proud Grandparents I made this hope they like it!
There is a hidden journalling tag behind the photo, I left this blank so they can fill it in with their memories of when Tilly-Mae was born.
I worked with Sue for a number of years, and she's one of the most adorable and kind hearted people I know, miss working with her, she's lovely, but at least we keep in touch.

My little fella was up at 5am this morning! bright as a button... his skin is healing really well and it doesn't seem to bothering him at all.
Weather has been a scorcher today of sorts so out in the garden we've played, Riley's worn out so having an afternoon nap whilst Mummy makes dinner - umm spag bol!

Thanks for popping by x

No name!

The post with no name! could not think of one!
Well the last few days have gone down the drain really! Literally... its rained so much, I've managed about 3 hours on my allotment, the final straw was getting well and truly soaked so i packed up my shovel and came home :(

Yesterday I finally got to meet my online buddy Linda, I met her through her online craft shop and finally after sharing many tears of joy and sadness we were able to sit down and gossip, gossip and gossip some more... a brilliant day and just so happy we finally met. (Although the terrapins can go take a run and jump! phobia remember...)

I have been crafting but got nothing I can show at the moment other than thesethey are my wool felt brooches that will be making an appearance in my Etsy Shop very soon...
I'm adding finishing touches to some baby gifts for a friend this evening will show those very soon...
Please make sure you pop on over to Kirsty's blog and help sign toward the petition to keep RMH Haslar, a military hospital open.
I love the RAF, I use to be in the ATC till I was about 18, never joined up myself (reasons of the time! but hey) I still have a huge soft spot for the air force...
You can go direct to the petition here deadline is the 19th August...

Ummmmm

Well today is my buddies baby girls birthday - so happy birthday Lexie... sweet ickle thing she is.My parents still have my boys - and my little baby boy is poorly!!!!!! Last Thursday we went to Kids Play (local indoor play area) for a couple of hours and since then he came out in small blisters, asked Mum to take him to the doctors and hey presto, my precious little fella has 'impetigo'
I feel dreadful, for not been there, for not stopping this from happening, for not been able to give him a huggle!! Mum told me to shut it and that he was fine and happy where he is, still playing, still eating, still smiling - doesnt stop me worrying though.

So I started to feel a tad alone and looked through some old photos!Believe it or not I was only about 5 (yes FIVE) months pregnant here carrying Riley!!! I was blooming huge..... and hated it....
but god I miss my little man right now x

Sharing

Today has been a blitzing day for me, weather shockingly awful!!! Was gonna do a car boot but the weather report was rain rain and more rain! Which I'd like to add didn't happen till this afternoon, so apart from the 'wind' I could have done a car boot, but hey ho...

So due to amount of hoovering and polishing and moving stuff! I still have no craft material to show as of yet, so I will share a couple of photosmy niece Megan, has stayed with me for the past couple of weeks, she's been a good girl no trouble at all really - bless her...

and my honey is going to Glasgow soon so I wont be hearing any of thisgonna miss him tons
(although he did teach me how to play a few chords last night! )

Played around with photo editing and love the agfa edit, remember back then when your photos turned out like this!! Love it :) x

Just US

Yes its just me and him indoors!!!
I dropped the boys off at my parents yesterday, shed a fair few tears throughout the evening (the house is sooooooo quiet and it just doesn't feel right with them not been here!)
Me and Tel have a few days together - Just US - we'll probably be killing each other by Monday, lol :)
Must have rang the boys five times already! I'm just one proud Momma who's missing her boys...

Over on Easy Craft Projects my latest project is now showing
Change a plain square favour box into a gift box for any occasion, I decided to start on my Christmas ideas already - its never too early.... Pop on over and check how I made it here
Lisa sent me a fantastic new kit from Indigomill so I'll be showing you a couple of new projects with that by the end of the month.

Long time

and no blog from me!
Busy weekend, went for another gorgeous meal at The Park House with our friends Cazz and Mark (not that she ever updates her blog!! but hey lol) followed by a trip to the flicks to watch The Dark Knight, this amazingly talented guy made the film entirely his ownand so so sadly no longer with us...
the rest of the film was me staring at Cazz crying (with tears of laughter) at Two Face!!! and Batman's weirdly husky voice!!!

A day spent with family on Sunday, and today just pottering around, friend for coffee and an appointment tonight with a lady to discuss her Wedding Stationery..

Also to add a crafty note, a very talented fellow crafter friend of mine has had some of her images made into stamps, and she is lovingly having a RAK on her blog to celebrate.. The lovely Debbie Moore and her safari stamps - go check Debbies blog out here and you can purchase her stamps here

I'm off to go Wii Fit...........

Back tomorrow folks!

To knot or not to knot!!!

Yesterday saw us doing a bit of thisbut Riley didnt quite get the hang of it!!!Today was a leisurely stroll to town, and a visit to see Jacks old childminder, who I miss greatly, I miss our daily chit chat about general life, I miss her input with Jack and mostly I miss her, a really lovely person, and most certainly the only childminder I would trust with my children. So a great evening was had, especially by Riley running riot in her garden and Megan on the trampoline and of course - gossip!!

HS-MS today is Knot (Knot on wood) have a weird tune going round me head now!! (My summer house which will be up soon!)
Thats it finally! Blogger not been playing today at all!!!

I have a weekend of my fella at home, tomorrow evening is already planned, meal and pictures with friends to see this

Toodle pip x
