Just for fun!

Firstly over on ECP stage one of my Halloween project is up and ready for downloadIts a very cheap and easy project, you get to use up scraps and the kids can help too. Watch out for step two!

Last night saw me doing a LO for funWe love this photo... Riley so looks like he is not impressed with Daddy on his big brothers bike.

Mmmmmmmm

Gorgeous day yesterday so off to the country park we went, I have to say that its our favourite place to go for a great long walk, picking up leaves, lunch and the wicked kids play area.

Whilst taking photos I wondered why is it we choose to have the breed of dog that you just cannot photograph!!! Whatever way I do it, he looks like a ball of fluff!See that little dot of an orange top! That's Riley doing a runner... Something super duper is happening this evening with friends and I cant wait to share what it is but you'll have to wait till tomorrow!

I do have to say that I love blogging especially about my crafting ventures and snippets from my day to day life and I love that people stop by and see what we're up to and leave a comment, I've made so many wonderful friends doing this and I wouldn't change it for the world.
I've had my first ever anon comment, I would like to stress that as a family we do lead our lives to the fullest that we possibly can and that my children most certainly don't go without! Me not willing to spend out near on £50+ a term for my child to go to an activity for half and hour a week is not me letting him miss out on life!!

There are other activities out there which are more cost effective and even free and Riley especially (whilst his older brother is at school) thrives on them all.

Spooky...

Today was Tumble Tots, I am still in awe of it!!! Riley loved it but I'm afraid he wont be going back...

£20 membership fees, £47 term fees, all to be paid upfront!!!

Is it me, or is that ridiculous, I still cannot get over how much they are charging!! and £20 to join!!! I could get a bloody tumble tots tshirt on Ebay second hand thank you very much!!!

So I am now on the look out for another coolio cheapo place to take him, along with country park walks in all weathers !! lol

Challenge 2

Over on our new challenge blog week two is up and running, Rosie set this week and its to do a layout from a sketch, here's my take on itAlthough I have to add that I do struggle scrapping from a sketch! I can never normally see past the lines. My new love is paint at the moment and I cannot seem to do a LO without it... it makes me very happy (simple pleasures eh)
I love these photos of the beaches in Cornwall, the boys love it, there really is nothing better than happiness, and these photos are true happiness to me :)
Soooo need to go back and soon - please honey if you read this please can we go back soon...


This Sunday see's a fantastic surprise for a friend of ours.... Me, Cazz, Jayne and Steph (the surprise is on Steph) are going out! but sssh its a secret, its a pre-hen night gift to Steph from us.
Oooh wonder what it could be :)

Recovery

is such a good thing! I certainly feel better now thats for sure after my weekend antics...:)

Saturday - somehow - I managed to pop along to Rosies and do some scrapping (the cheese and ham toastie ((thanks Will)) and the Mr Whippy ((thanks Rosie)) certainly helped me thinks) didnt really do that much scrapping was more whinging about the washing machine stuck in my stomach :( and the weird hammer that just kept knocking in my head.

We did swop layouts though, these are my layouts to Rosie, fun Mother and Daughter momentI love simple layouts, and I love christmas too :)Rosie set the challenge for this week, scrap from a sketch, I'm still waiting honey x

Steph on her motorbike...Do you remember doing this at school! lolNow we never did this at my school, but hey a girls night out is a girls night out!!! All I can say is that I am never eating Jacobs cream crackers again!!

and so I am off to curl up and try to regain some of the sleep I lost for getting in at gone 3am!!!

Heres a sneak peek of Rosies second layout!I'm more nervous about this one as its quite plain and simple, but I soo love doing certain layouts this way :) and the photo on this one I wanted to remain the main focal point

Riley loved his music makers class yesterday, I must admit though he got rather excited at one point and just couldnt contain it so laid into me! :( lol

I'm also mega happy because after months (and I mean bloody months) of waiting Riley finally has a place at our local Tumble Tots - yee haa, so he starts that next Friday, hopefully (although Im sure it wont lol) it will wear out some of that energy of his!

Off to my school night tonight! will show (or maybe not) photos of the event once one has sobered up! Crop day tmz with Rosie so taking my pillow with me so I can doze as and when :)

Thanks to freecycle my little fella is very very happy, as I did not collect the little tykes slide till early evening he was happily playing on it in the kitchen! a first and last time I can tell you :)

Tomorrow is a busy day, picking up new buggy (the actual tyre has worn down on this one already!)

Raising Cash

Today has been a good day!

More freecycle goodness happening for an even worthier cause, a lady is raising some cash to fund towards her daughters next buggy (the nhs wont provide this for her as her daughter is able to walk for all of a couple of mins! Amazing isnt it)

So I will find as much of goodness to pass on for her to sell at the carboot this weekend :)

A good deed done makes me feel very happy...

Off to work wonders on some photos that arent mine!!!! A challenge I set for Rosie and I, we have two of each others photos and we have to scrap them... Here goes :) x

bag a bargain

if you can...

Yes we popped along to the Car Boot, dont you just love it when you can bag a bargain!!! Couple PS2 games for a fiver will 'hopefully' keep Jack happy for awhile..

I as per my last post did not end up doing my own car boot thanks to a little man named Riley who was awake all night! Thankfully at 4am Tel said 'Bo****ks to the car boot' lol and amazingly after that I believe we got a whole hour or so sleep :)

Oh how weary we were....

So after our morning in the fresh air I came home I realised that everytime I try to do a 'sale' its either raining, lots, or we're kept awake all night! So the majority of the stuff went on Freecycle, half picked up last night, the rest going tonight - sorted.

Only some baby clothes and baby bits to get rid of now - much more space in ones bedroom :)

Last night I popped along to see Rosie to again sniff through her adorable patterned papers :) Oh what a night lol

We've challenged each other to do a couple of LO's with each others photos... Umm cant wait to see what she comes up with.

As for the book I'm reading 'The boy in striped pyjamas'I first saw it over on Tracies blog and well, its fantastic, i'm loving it and i'm defo gonna go and book seats or a single seat lol, although I'm not too happy at the fact I've just checked and the nearest cinema showing it to me is 41 miles away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not Happy :(

Dig Happy :)

I've been dig happy the last couple of days, lots of dig dig digging down on the allotment.

One path sorted, weeds in a huge pile, and a flower bed ready to plant my bulbs in.

A few bargains picked up from the garden centre today, although my buddy bagged 'the' most gorgeous glass vase EVER...

Off to 'hopefully' do a car boot in the morning and get rid of ALL (thats my aim) my clutter...

No photos to show today, am enjoying the bestest book ever, will share tomorrow :) x

Wobble wobble, well thats how it felt for me anyways! lol

Last night I started a course on thisObviously I looked nothing like the woman in the picture! lmao (picture taken with thanks from google)

Loved every minute of it, so funny and blimey I werent half aching after.... a mad dash to fat club as were running late, lost a pound, slowly but surely coming off! off! off!

Bloody Weather...

annoying aint it! Stops you doing so much when its constant rain rain rain...

Been busy the last few days,
Saturday - Shopping in the day and a Chinese night with friends, I just kept on winning Black Jack long after they'd gone :) Posted Mums 60th invites off to herSunday - A 4 year olds birthday party and Rileys first time on a bouncy castle!All I can say about Riley is he was a gonna once he found the food table!! lol

Monday - Jack first week back to school full time, so me and Riley were having some fun shopping and then a quick trip to Wicksteed Park, which was brilliant as was sooo quiet, so lots of go's on the slides and a screaming session on the swing!

My Friends 40th birthday today also so popped her card and pressie in to her

Phew busy few days, yesterday I also started my online photography course with Kirsty, theres still time to join in so pop along to her blog for details.

Also Bad Girls Top Designer started yesterday, so I'm working on my first LO towards that.

What a day so far and its not even lunch time!

I've blitzed, blitzed and well blitzed...

My favourite film of all time is 'The Crow' I mean isnt it everyones? Well is should be... What talent. Well I havent seen it for awhile so I decided to pop it on and watch it whilst Riley was having a nap - I forgot how awesome it was... the music is ace and Brandon Lee is a true star

Way back in my single days!!!! I use to rent a room and I had this picture that was so huge it covered a whole wall!!!! I remember it costing me a fiver from the Oasis in Brum... it was great I use to wake up to that awesome wallpaper every morning!!! :)

What a short life this great guy had....

Ummm

its 23:19pm and I've just finished my Tesco online shopping!!!

Before I must admit I use to say 'theres no way I'm gonna do my shopping online, what a cop out, what a lazy ***' lol

but I take it all back... when Riley was poorly a few weeks ago I just couldnt get out of the house, Terry was away so I was limited to either more bean on toast! dont really think my gut could take anymore or do an online shop!!!

I've never looked back... tonight was my third week and wow, its stress free! I dont overbuy any crap that I dont really need! and the food is eaten as I buy all I need for planned meals throughout the week (Slimming World meals of course)

Love it... :)

Off to town tmz, birthday party on Sunday and thats about it really, more 'new' designs been dreamt up for my website... so I am busy, I just dont look it! lol

Tears aplenty

Do you know what, sod everything else today...

Today my little 'man' started Year TWO, Year two... I cannot believe itHe was up at 6am (always the early riser) and was a tad upset, nervous and scared about going back to school again. As soon as he saw his friends I knew he'd be fine, and he was more than happy by the time he put on his new school uniform.

Hugs to my little fella... one proud momma :)

I am very busy updating my website at the moment with new designs, very tiring job but hopefully worth it in the end.

Summer's GONE...

OMG its back to school in the morning and well! its 23:51 as I type this!!! I so should be in bed as its not just about getting up, its getting out of the front door in time!

I am very lucky that we only live a short 4 minute walk to school! Believe me even that is difficult to achieve especially with a little man like Riley who doesnt like to co-operate at the best of times! Bless....

Will update with more craftigoodness tomorrow, but I cannot leave this post pictureless - can I - no of course not! One VERY tired boy on our day trip to Brum last week! :( x
