Website Update

Yay finally my first update, I'm still stinking ill :( but managed to get this post sorted. A few new styles to old favourites and some great little gifts too :)

Under the sea!

A lovely blogging friend Rebekah (*actually you should go see her blog its blooming awesome her scrapbooking style is beautiful*) asked me to custom make her one of my coffee cosies, of course I said 'yes', a seahorse was requested and this is what I came up with

I throughly enjoyed making this and found it quite difficult to package up and post lol

Currently snuggled under a duvet with a huge box of balsam tissues :( normal blogging madness will resume shortly - hope everyone else is okay out there :)

Willow Sketchie Challenge

Its that time again

Pop on over to WSC for a new sketch by the lovely Katie

Heres my take on it

I used penny black stamped image and watercoloured it, green patterned papers, button and 'love' wording from stash

I do really try so hard to make a cluttered page, but it feels so wrong when I do so again its a gorgeous amount of white space and simple :)

Heres mine currently, I literally just ran and took it

My picture peg magnets sold out at the last fair so I'm whipping up a few more, only two more smaller fairs to go, then they'll be listed in my one of my online shops :) They really are pretty when they are all glossed and finished :)

Right off to buy more glue sticks from town, I wont be in there long as I dont have a child with me! It feels so strange been here alone, Jacks at school and Riley is spending the week with nanny. Its all very quiet :)

Quirky Crafts Challenge 17

A new challenge is set over at the Quirky Crafts Forum, and this fortnight its a sketch by the lovely Lyn, heres my interpretation

I used a stamped image from Cazzy off the forum, brown cardstock, string and velvet brad from stash, cuttle bug embossed postage stamp, patti picklicious papers

Craft fair was fantastic yesterday, best one I've ever attended by far, will show photos of the stall later.

Early start!

Eeeeeeek have to be up nice and early in the morning to get to my craft fair, but purely so we get a brekkie! lol gotta start the day right - right!
House looks like blackpool illuminations at the moment whilst I run around popping everything by the door and ticking off my check list (gotta have one of those!)

Joined a gym today with my best bud, I dare say a few tales will be shared on here! as nothing goes as smoothly as it should for us lol

and just because I'm ubber excited cause it was such a great night, I cannot wait for this to come out next week

It was good, too fast in places and too slow in others but all in all, this guy was defo the star of the show :)
Still as a woman in her thirties I have to admit its still Team Edward for me :) lol

Full Moon!

Noooooooo its New Moon

Tonight is the night :)

This is my favourite book out of all of the Twilight Saga, purely for emotional reasons, its fantastic. Off with the girls for a meal then *sigh* the film I've been waiting for a year to see :)

I'm busy using the few spare minutes I have to put the final touches to all my goodies for my big craft fair on Sunday

Creative Time

I've been really lacking creative time at the moment due to a poorly little man. I've tried to give myself some 'me craft time' in the evenings but I've ended up going to bed too late and now I'm feeling it! So I've had a few very early nights so finally the headache is wearing off and I feel a little refreshed.

My post over on its a creative world is live today. Its a quick post as thats all I've managed to do.

I really wanted to say thank you to a friend for taking Jack to school for me last week, I am really grateful for that

Cheese Straws!

Amazing what you get from crops isnt it! I'll certainly be making Heathers recipe of cheese straws so watch this space!

Sundays crop was another success, a class of christmas card making.

I dont think they wanted to lynch me after this last card, but you have to admit, it is pretty!

11. Your fear? tortoise, terrapin, turtle - massive phobia, cant breathe when i see them - worst fear to lie on a beach and baby turtles come out of the sand!!! i think i would die...

22. Friends? After much heartbreak over friendships I now choose them very carefully, I've learnt my lessons in life on who to trust! I have a handful of friends I can truly trust and they mean the world to me :)

24. Your mood? dodgy! lol

25. Missing someone? will it sound really bad to say I miss my old doggie all the time, I get quite upset when I think of her, she was my first baby :(

Time of year

Yes its that time of year when I get all flustered wondering if I have enough of a range for the christmas craft fairs, I've changed my style so much over the years, but I finally feel comfortable and at home with all the goodies I create now and where I'm heading with them.

**updated to add, results finally came in and thankfully he didnt have swine flu, but a really bad viral infection** and relax...

I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their well wishes for Riley, he is so much better now, although we still do not have the results of the swine flu tests! Thats another story in itself.

Giveaway Winner

Sadly there are no photos of me picking out the winner, due to spending the majority of yesterday in hospital with my little boy, who now has suspected swine flu.

He was really poorly yesterday with a high temperature that just would not go down, and the sickness was awful.

He's now on tamiflu and has done nothing but cough all day today so he is so tired but cant doze off due to coughing himself awake! - vicious circle me thinks - bless him

I got my friend to pick a name out last night so I wouldnt keep you in suspense anymore :)

Gah!

I'm back - did anyone actually notice I've not being on here!! lol

My poor poor laptop finally decided to go to laptop heaven a couple of weeks ago, and to be honest it feels more like years a go! Its amazing how much you rely on cyber space!!!

Well I'm back with a new super duper lappy, so I'm catching up on emails and online shop orders then I'll be back with a bigger post, and of course the winner of my website Giveaway :) A huge thank you to everyone that entered.
