BIG Post...

blimey - I have tons to add, and I dare say I will forget most of it - yep thats me - dippy dee! lol.
Well firstly, poor Lexie baby had a tumble down the concrete stairs outside school last week! In her words 'roll roll roll arghhhhh' bless her, a rather LARGE egg...
Riley got a new toy!!!! bit too small for it at the moment but loved his trial run...

I've had lots of craft goodies arrive, lots of baby goodies for my website and lots of new design ideas for my website too, now I just need the time to sort it all out and get it on there!
I'm very excited, I'm going to become self employed and see how the website goes, its all my own work and I love the fact that everything on there is designed or handmade or put together by me and me alone. I am very very proud of myself.

Jacks friend Jake is sleeping over tonight, Jacks first sleep over here, so that should be fun, but for who! lol and he has a birthday tea to go to later as well, so must get cracking as still lots to do.
Only TEN more sleeps to the holiday and the majority of us are getting excited, meaning I'll get excited nearer the time, but I think Cazz has forgot how old she is as she is worse than the blooming kids!!! lol sorry mate x love ya really...

I'm looking at going for the pencil lines comp as they are looking for a DT member, I dare say I am no where near good enough, but at least its an excuse to get scrapping...

Right must go and finish off that son of mines VERY MESSY BEDROOM

Altered Art...

No stash for me off postie today! Although I did bag myself a bargain off ebay last

night!!! Once its arrived - and I so cannot wait - it will be posted on here... must share the bargain.
Well I've done my first peice of altered art tonight, Riley's having a very relaxed sleep bless him and Jacks been tucked up for ages, so I had a moment to myself.

I had an old perfume bottle tin hanging around, I've just purchased some watercolour pencils and wanted somewhere to store them - hey presto...

I'm very happy with it, and if I ever get a desk! and not the kitchen table to work from, it will sit proudly on there.

Good Day...

I am feeling great today! Maybe its because we have some lovely weather or just the fact that I feel on top of the world!
I had a weight loss last night which pleased me.
The boys are well and healthy and my lovely fella is starting a new job on Tuesday!!! He took the plunge and bravely handed in his notice and is going elsewhere for the better hopefully, so we are very proud of you honey - big hugs and kisses just for you -
AND... we are only 18 sleeps away from our holiday to Cornwall - yippee...

AND... I have lots of stash!!!

This is my Pocket and Floss pattern and all of the fabrics were kindly and stressfully chosen by Emma from her buttonberry website, and they are just gorgeous, as I really didnt know where to start as this is my first but hopefully not my last sewing project! So watch this space and I'll keep it updated with my progress - eek...

and this is my stash from a trip down memory lane which I found through Anso's blog, how gorgeous are those papers! and few freebie ribbons too, ATDML and Anso's blog are so worth a visit, very inspirational.

Well I'm waiting for postie to come and hopefully I'll have more stash to show tomorrow.

Sunny Day...

Wow what a day... its been gorgeous here, the weather has out shone itself.
Today I went to see some old work friends, Esme and her gorgeous baby Ollie - sadly I forgot my camera, but I certainly wont next time - and Sue and her gorgeous Grandson Our Jack..
We had a lush lunch and chit chat - lots of it...
Cant wait to go to Abington Park next week whilst Jacks off school (half term already!!!)

Got lots to add to my website and lots of interesting goodies to add on here, so come back as I'm sure I would have updated it by tomorrow.

Oh well off to fat club tonight, not done good me thinks!!!

Wow I havent updated this for some time, I've just been so busy with family life and decorating and sorting out my website!
I promise myself now, that I must try to update this blog more often especially as I've found so many more card & scrapping blogs that I can join in with, promise promise promise! lol
We are all getting very excited about our holiday now, only a few more weeks left!!! hehe...

I've made some cards for my ebay shop over the last few days and one fits in well with the dcm blog, their little extra challenge for this week is 'Anniversary cards'

I love the paper nation decoupage, there just a bit of fun...

Oh what a night!!!

Well... most certainly, what a night!!!
Much much much alcohol consumed - Lol - but it was my first night out since having Riley and well deserved.
I think Cazz and I can certainly say we enjoyed ourselves! Our feet were rarely off the dance floor, and I dont think either of us will ever forget winning chocolates for our 'dirty dancing'!!!
I thought I would tie my wonderful evening out, with my first scrapped picture, which I took inspiration from the brilliant pencil lines sketch.
All paper and chipboard used from my new self addressed kit, basic grey rub on, angel bloom & ribbon/button from stash.
Its only a small one to start with, until I get the hang of this, but it fits perfectly in my basic grey lunch pail, which I love and cant wait to alter.

Very EXCITED...

Lots of exciting stuff to put on here but I'll start and end with this one at the moment.
We are booking our holiday today!!!!
Me, Terry, Jack & Riley are going away with our friends Cazz & Mark and their SIX kids - yippee - cant wait for the break...
A beautiful cottage in Cornwall, me and Cazz are especially excited, like big kids - hehe...

You would be too if you were going somewhere as beautiful as this!!!

Last day...

...before school starts again.

Us and Cazz & Marks family went off to Emberton Country Park for the day (Taylor had to stay home as she was poorly - bless) so she missed out on a fun packed day, a huge picnic at the park, football, icecream and a very long walk.
Cazz insisted that she spotted a 'famous' person, but I'm not so sure!!! But we'll give her her moment - lol.

Then we went off to Billing Aquadrome for a well deserved 'drink' and yet another long walk, hopefully Cazz and I managed to shed some of the non friendly picnic food!!!
Took some great photos of the kiddies in the play area, so i'll post a few, also I'll dare to put some on of Cazz & Mark and Me and Terry!!!!! Enjoy lol...

The photo of Jack and Jake is great, very cool dudes!!!

I am sooo not into photos of myself at the moment, but must post them, then at least we'll see the new leaner meaner photos of us, when we hit 'target'!!!!

Another bonus to today, I got my second instalment of self addressed scrapping stuff today, so cant wait to see what I can do with that.

Terry is sadly on nights for a week now, so I find it difficult to sleep!! boo hoo, so i'll be scrapping well into the night!!! lol

sooo tired.... again lol

... but I did spend half the night up thinking of ways not to go back to work, and how to manage once the maternity runs out! I have a whole year off work so I need to sort myself out sharpish...

I've done a leaflet for my website and have decided once Jack is back at school next week to go leaflet dropping in some neighbourhoods near me, you never know, someone may need a baby gift or wedding stationery.
Also gonna pop along to the hospital and see if they will put up a poster as I've decided to invest in some premature baby clothing too, and thats the best place to advertise really, fingers crossed.

Did the dreaded shop in Asda today, sooo busy there, but great and full of bargains, especially with me and cazz looking for slimming world stuff!!! oooh no too many sins!!! darn it - lol

will defo get into gear and do my first LO tonight, and will post on here asap...

Fabby..twice over

Fabby is the only word that comes to mind - FIRSTLY our gorgeous little boy had his first baby rice yesterday and he loved it!!! yum yum and Jack had his first sleepover at his friend Jakes house - they were both sooo excited bless them.I found this great site through another blog - I'm only just starting on scrapbooking as I'm more into the card making, so am really excited, pagemaps is a site that shows some fantastic LO's and cant wait to use those as inspiration, will post some as soon as I've had a chance to dabble.

Must get cracking on with cards, but so difficult with a baby in the house - bless him - how gorgeous is he... I know I know - hehehe...
