I've joined in with the Christmas Journalling over at Shimelle's. Starts tomorrow, I have some fab chrimbo papers and embellishments lined up ready from my Bubbly Funk kit.

Only joined today so other than that, not prepared at all!!! lol

HS-MS catch up...

Playing catch up this evening - so here goes Rough and SmoothI love Kiwi fruit, the skin is quite rough and the skins quite smooth on the tangerines!

BristlesThis finally gave up the ghost yesterday, so must go purchase another!!! I chose this for bristles cause they'd just been used for a haircut, you can see some bits of bristle hair - lol - if you squint!

HS-MS ~ Wet

HS-MS ~ Starting a week of Textures, go and find soemthing wet in your space.

I havent checked everyones out yet, but I dare say I've gone for the safe bet. Its the only chance I've had today to sort this out, so its a bit of a wierd picture actually!!! Its dark but I really like how it focused in on the tea bags! lol weirdo I know.

Notebooks

I have a craft fair on Sunday, so I'm busy making chrimbo pressie ideas for peeps to buy, I have a whole list of things still to do, hopefully I'll get them all done!!!

I have my notecard stationery and other notebooks in the sideline for chrimbo pressies too, but they have to wait until this fair is over with. Then I'll be busy present crafting.

I'm in a pickle and dont know whether to do it or not!!! - I read Anso blog (glitter adventure), she is doing a Christmas Journal through an online class run by Shimelle.
I'm really into my crafting so much more now and I would love to document our Christmases, and this feels like a perfect way (and its free after this go year after year).
I've already made my journal, I just need to decide whether I want/need some guidance to fill it or do it alone - I'll keep you posted!

Also a postman knocked on our door yesterday!!!!!!! (I know - Sunday) with a package all for me, how amazing is the Bubbly Funk monthly kit, I couldnt believe it, I was 'oooh' and 'aaaahhh' and my Scrapping Angels kit arrived too - lovely jubbly papers in there, so cant wait to get stuck in, especially as the Bubbly Funk has a few christmas projects included!! Watch this space. x

... the laundry is on, the baby is asleep, the house is tidy - so it was Amy Butler time!!! lol I seriously just kept looking at it thinking I have to do something with you now, and I was so excited like a little kid hehe - so here goes, I used Di Hickmans Wednesday sketch for this one -

I dont think my camera and the lighting (really dull here today) do these beautiful vibrant colours justice. The buttons really set the colours off too - I love it love it love it hehe

Number Two -

I couldnt bare to cut up this paper cause guess what, I love it... hence I used it for the whole card base, I cut out an extra flower to layer and give a little depth, ribbon and ribbon buckle and a papermania dome sticker - this will wing its way to one of my best friends, as its her birthday next week - oooh so's mine - hehehehe...

Another commissioned card -

I used my Basic Grey Dasher pp and made a lubbly jubbly crumpled distressed layered chrimbo tree. This will be popped in the post tomorrow with the rest.
Over at Papertake Challenge they want to see a card with a chrimbo tree, so here you go girlies.

All wrapped up

was the challenge set by the talented Sri over on the bad girls christmas weekend

The photos a bit dark because it was about midnight when I took it!!!! lol
Products used are a bevelled canvas painted with acrylic blues and a metallic white, my favourite photo in the world of my boys (makes me feel so proud when I look at it!), 'pals' is from the Bohemia collection, chipboard button painted metallic white, rub ons, hamley transparency and ribbon from stash.

Actually I got the ribbon last night from Hobbycraft and whilst there, I purchased one of each of the utterly gorgeous Amy Butler PP, wow, they really are gorgeous and glittery and girlie, cant wait to play with those.

Right this canvas is now going to be very protected as its going to be heading parents way for chrimbo pressie (they dont have a computer so wont be reading this!) Hope they like it.

More Bad Girls

I've enjoyed doing the classes that I have so far, I havent managed to participate in them all, but I have managed to use up some stash that for some reason or another I didnt know what to do with it or forgot it was there!!!

Products used were Basic Grey - Dasher - Snowfall Cranberry & Popcorn Balls PP. Rusty Pickle flourish chipboard & Making Memories alpha chipboard - both enamel embossed.
I loved doing this class, I love how simple but effective the LO is as a whole, thank you so much Anna for sharing this with us.

Christmas Memories by Bonnie

Products used were chipboard book, Fancy pants - Beautify PP, green cardstock & rub ons from stash.

Again I really enjoyed this class, I used up supplies I already had, so the book is smaller than the class stated but will still do the job.
I'm going to get Jack (and some additions from Riley and us of course) to add a page to this book all throughout christmas time, I cant wait to see the treasured finished product.

No internet -

- for the last few days, looks like I've missed out on some great prompts over on HS-MS - oh well.

I've been doing lots of crafting, and I mean lots, I have so much on the go, I'm confused whats what - lol.

What I do have finished is this

As I've said on previous posts, the bad girls have been doing a christmas challenge, this is one of them from the amazingly talented Tracie.
Sadly though due to no internet and not sketching this beforehand, I did it a tad wrong, the boxes were suppose to be layered in three's and I've done it in six!!! Oh well, it still works.
I used Basic Grey - Dasher pp, snowflakes from stash and a crumpled chrimbo tree of course.
I love it though and cant wait to fill with mini mini mini treats hehehe, this is certainly going to get preserved and used every year.

Long time no post...

...but to be honest I've not felt in the mood for it! Nothing bad, just took a break, didnt want to feel like I 'have' to post daily.

So what have we been up to! The weekend was full of fun and hangovers... As per usual it took me until the last hour before going 'out' to find something in the shop to wear, and I have to say the MOST BEAUTIFUL SHOES IN THE WORLD!!! Must take pic - hehehe - saddo I know.

Off we went for a meal in a mexican restaurant that strangely didnt do chilli! or enchiladas! or tacos! quick departure from there onto the local nice pub for superb meal, funnily enough I had chilli.

Off into town, which was a first for me since living here, few tiffs along the way with lovely bubbly fella - fine now - alcohol eh... then off to sleep at Cazz and Marks for the night.

I have to admit here that I missed my boys way too much... so quite happy nights like that dont happen often. Mum, Dad and Megan did a great job looking after them, but was very glad to be home, even though I was only five mins down the road - been a mother eh! Totally changes your life.

Anyway now I'm dribbling on - I sadly did not get a design team post over at Card Studio Designs, but the girlies that did really are amazing, pop on over to the message board, looks like some fun things are going to be happening. We had to submit five cards, four could be used and one had to be specific - heres mine

Products used are Yummy scrummy basic grey papers, making memories chipboard, 7gypsies label, felt flowers and tons of handstitching.

Never mind, always another time.

I'm currently working on four of the bad girls christmas workshop challenges, hopefully these will be uploaded tomorrow.

HS-MS ~ Snip!

Um Snip I've tried but I really cannot think of anything other than scissors! sorry...Jack use to go to a childminder, she did lots of pre-school work with him, but on this particular day, she said how much he had struggled with using a pair of scissors. So I had to be honest and say that he had never used scissors, I'd never even considered letting him use some, even plastic ones! The danger flag use to go off in my head, still does actually - lol.
I felt so bad as we use to do so much craft stuff at home anyway, I rushed out to buy him some, hence above, and to this day, hes never bloody used them, cause there rubbish!!! lol

Products used were blue bazzil cardstock, basic grey romani pp, felt butterfly, transparency and doodling.

CPS #39

Products used were metallic blue cardstock, the never ending Sassafras - Serendipity pp, more felt butterflies and a 'smile' button which I purchased from Tracie H, along with a few other goodies. Tracie is a real inspiration and has some of the most gorgeous LOs I've ever seen, shes also part of the BAD GIRLS design team.

I'm going to use this card for our slimming world consultant Karen, shes been running her group for one year, so tonight is party night, just to thank her for been so inspiring and making group fun.

Bad Girls Christmas Workshop

The Bad Girls are running a fantastic Christmas Workshop this weekend.I'm hopefully going to join in as many of the 12 FREE classes as I can, as they look and sound fantastic. If you've never been over to BAD GIRLS go check them out, a really inspirational forum. Sadly you have to go on the waiting list for the monthly kit. Grab yourself a blinkie though and you could be up for a chance of winning a RAK over the weekend. 16th - 18th Nov.

Typically though I never go out, and myself, Terry and our friends Cazz and Mark are all off to Nandos for a mexican meal and then we're going to hit the town!!! I'll probably be found asleep somewhere about 10 oclock - lol.
My parents are coming down to babysit so I can relax abit more (I dont have babysitters - except for Cazz - as I dont trust anyone with my boys!) and me and Terry might make a night of it and stay out somewhere, while we have the opportunity, why not - hehehe.

HS-MS, Potatos and website!

Firstly HS-MS today is 'Almost' not quite or very nearlyVery nearly a day without a bump slip!! (It is dark so I'll try and do photo again in the morning, but you get the idea)
Bless Jack, playing pretend power rangers fighting in the playground! and then goes and falls over and scuffs his face off. The school rang to pre-warn me but also to say he was a-ok.

Its amazing whilst cooking dinner and literally turning your back for one moment to stir the casserole what kids, especially babies get up too!!

Remembrance Sunday

Dont get me wrong I dont practise religion in anyway, but our men and women are out there fighting for everyone else, so lets not forget them.

Nothing in particular

to report that is! lol

I had planned to craft today but never got a chance.
Stood for about two hours doing the ironing! Rileys been a good little fella bless him - although I can hear him fidgeting in bed right now.

I must say, I've never known a piece of jam on toast to be sooo messy

and have you seen the new 'Tickle me Elmo' if not, you need to go and get one, they are so funny, Riley didnt know what to make of it at first, but now he loves it and goes to the box all the time to want him out. It really is a must have chrimbo pressie for any little one.

Had a yummy scrummy indian takeaway this evening, chicken tikka masala, poppadoms & naan bread - the works - not very slimming world friendly - but I have been good the rest of the day - lol.
Right thats it for me, no SPS for HS-MS, couldnt think of anything other than the norm and thats too boring, esp considering I havent bothered doing anything with my hair all day!!!

Ps AM GUTTED Andy got kicked off the X-Factor, bye bye Andy...

HS-MS ~ Disturbed

Disturbed ~ A feeling you get when something unexpected happens

Theres nothing more disturbing than putting the baby to sleep and the bloody phone ringing!!!

Today has been a mixture of feelings:
Riley had his hospital apppointment this morning, I waited an hour! for a 2 minute consulation of 'His scan was normal, we'll discharge him now' !!!

It was then my last group session of the PND variety, so there are a few mixed bag of feelings going around my head at the moment, accompanied by a migraine - great.

Jack then received another praise postcard and stood in assembly with his friend Jake to show his beavers certificate,necker and toggle.
Then I had to drive him to his dads!! Another story altogether!

To then come home to Tel still poorly and whos now in bed as he is working all weekend.

I have plans tomorrow though - and hopefully I am going to fulfill them, so watch this space.

HS-MS ~ Confused & Anxiety

Confused ~ This is something we can be almost everyday.Some may know that I currently go to slimming world, I have 'all' the books, but I get so bothered by the fact that one day I'm into it and the next day I'm eating a pack of biccies!!! Confused - I am!!!

Anxious ~ Whether the word anxious defines that you are worried or eagerThe only anxiety in this family is 'me', I worry about 'everything' and I mean 'everything'!
I've said before that I currently attend a group for PND, which has helped so much, but it does make me more anxious talking about it and realising what I am going through - but most certainly not alone. (I like how the photo turned out pretty grey actually, because thats what PND is to me - a grey feeling)

The start of Christmas shopping!

Yes today I started, is that late or early! Mind you I only got about five items!!! But hey, its a start. Enjoyed the walk round town, Riley asleep in his buggy and just taking my time having a peek here and a peek there.

No photos to show today or certainly no crafting done either! Whats wrong with me, I think I've lost my mojo!! arghhh I need it back.

I've signed up for Jens 'Piece of Life' class & kit, it doesnt start until January 1st and I'm already excited, I really want to get into scrapbooking and Jen is super talented and so creative.
I'll post a photo of my kit once I receive it, but its coming from Australia so will have to wait awhile me thinks - lol. Still excited though - hehe.

Anyways off to bed, bit of a panic attack this evening, not entirely sure why, prob just mega tired. Night night x

HS-MS ~ Excited

One of the most happiest of emotions. Whats exciting through your lensWhenever I think back to our holiday in Cornwall, I get so excited and cannot wait to go back again. I completly fell in love with the place.

I know we're not to use a face, but this is one excited little fella when Mummy says yes to having a go on the DS! lolNot much else today as have migraine from hell!
